EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 27

AN ORDER DECLARING SEPTEMBER 30, 2025 AS A REST DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PIKIT FOR MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT PERSONNEL, PUBLIC SCHOOL PARTICIPANTS, AND VOLUNTEERS WHO CONTRIBUTED TO THE SUCCESS OF THE CONDUCT THE 76TH FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION OF PIKITοΏΌ
WHEREAS, the Municipality of Pikit, Province of Cotabato, is celebrating its 76th Founding Anniversary on September 29, 2025, marking more than seven decades of resilience, unity, and progress of its people;
WHEREAS, the celebration highlights the rich history, culture, and identity of Pikit, with activities showcasing civic, cultural, educational, and community endeavors that foster solidarity among residents;
WHEREAS, municipal government personnel, alongside public and private school faculty, students, and volunteers, who have actively taken part in the preparation and conduct of anniversary activities, all while ensuring continuity of essential government functions, thereby demonstrating commendable commitment and public service;
WHEREAS, recognizing the invaluable contributions and tireless efforts of these personnel and participants, it is deemed fitting to provide them with a day of rest and recovery following the successful commemoration of the 76th Founding Anniversary;
WHEREAS, this declaration is without prejudice to the uninterrupted delivery of essential services and shall not contravene any existing national or provincial laws;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, MUHYRYN D. SULTAN-CASI, Municipal Mayor of Pikit, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby order:
SECTION 1. DECLARATION OF A REST DAY. September 30, 2025 is hereby declared as a Rest Day in the Municipality of Pikit for municipal government personnel, public an private school participants, and volunteers who contributed to the success of the 76th Founding Anniversary celebration.
SECTION 2. SCOPE AND COVERAGE. This declaration applies to:
2.1 All municipal government offices and personnel, especially those assigned to anniversary working committees and support teams;
2.2 All public and private schools within the Municipality of Pikit, in coordination with the Schools Division of Cotabato;
2.3 Volunteers and partner organizations who directly participated in the anniversary activities, subject to the discretion of their respective agencies or organizations.
SECTION 3. SERVICE CONTINUITY MEASURES. To ensure uninterrupted delivery of essential public services:
3.1 Offices responsible for critical functions, including health, emergency response, peace and order, sanitation, and disaster preparedness, shall remain operational;
3.2 Department heads shall implement appropriate skeletal workforce arrangements or on-call protocols to maintain service continuity.
SECTION 4. COORDINATION AND DISSEMINATION. The Municipal Mayorβs Office shall coordinate with the Department of Education β Schools Division of Cotabato and all concerned offices for the proper dissemination and observance of this Executive Order.
SECTION 5. EFFECTIVITY. This Executive Order shall take effect immediately upon its issuance.
