Anchored on the celebration of the ๐๐๐๐ญ๐ก ๐๐ก๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ง๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ง๐๐๐ง๐๐ ๐๐๐ฒ, the colloquium serves as a platform for presenting historical research and strengthening the connection between academic scholarship and the shaping of national memory. It highlights how historiography can critically engage dominant narratives while elevating regional perspectives in understanding the Philippine Revolution.
This yearโs colloquium places special emphasis on Bikolโs role in the struggle for independence, underscoring the importance of regional histories in broadening and enriching the national historical discourse.
