𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐈𝐍: In a 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 attended by both the Executive and Judicial branches, the PNU Mindanao Legislative Branch held its election for the new Speaker of the House. Garnering 14 votes from the legislative body, 𝗗𝗲𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗛𝗮𝗺𝗶𝘀, President of MAS-AMiCUS, was officially elected to serve as 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 for the next two terms in Academic Year 2025–2026.

The special session marked a moment of renewed commitment to leadership and collaboration among the university’s governing bodies. Under the new administration, the Legislative Branch vows to uphold constitutional integrity, promote accountability, and strengthen its role in fostering a transparent and student-centered governance.

The brave, smart, and compassionate former Legislative Body Speaker of the House, Mara Reggie D. Giango ranked Top 8 at Licensure Examination for Professional Teacher 2025!

The PNU Mindanao Legislative Branch along with the whole Student Government is overwhelmingly celebrating with pride and joy by your success! You have been one of the foundational pillars of the student body that raise the banner of leadership and student representation that amplifies the right of every student to speak and be heard. Your administration has built a transformation that realigns the role of the legislative branch to serve the student body in the campus and beyond.

A SYMBOLIC ACHIEVEMENT WILL FINALLY BE HANDED.

On March 3, 2025, we will proudly distribute the Legislative Body Identification Card to all of the legislators!

This is one of the symbols of our collective achievement and a testament to our dedicated efforts for improvement. As we all start wearing this, may we, the student leaders, be reminded of our duties and responsibilities of serving the student body with a proud and grateful heart for this meaningful opportunity and journey.

Sa araw na ito, isangdaan dalawampu’t limang taon ang nakalipas, nang makawala ang bansang Pilipinas mula sa tali ng mga mapang-abusong Kastila. Kaakibat ng pagtamo nito ay ang pagdanak ng luha at dugo ng mga repormista at rebolusyonaryong nanguna sa mga pag-aalsa. Dilim ay kanilang sinuong upang magbigay liwanag sa ating bansa.

Nawa’y ang araw na ito ay patuloy na magpaalala sa atin sa kahalagahan ng ating kalayaan. Lalong-lalo na at sa kasalukuyang panahon ay unti-unti tayong pinupulupot ng iba’t ibang isyung panlipunan na humahadlang sa pagtamo ng kaunlaran at kapayapaan sa ating sarili at ng ating bayan. Nawa’y ang aral ng nakaraan ay ‘wag na nating balikan bagkus baunin natin sa kasalukuyan upang itaguyod ang ating kinabukasan.

Isang makabuluhan, at ligtas na pagdiriwang ng Araw ng Kalayaan sa ating lahat. Mabuhay ang sambayanang Pilipino, mabuhay ang Inang Pilipinas!
