🦅 Empowering Recovery: Mental Health and Community Support 🦅

We are proud to share a heartfelt video highlighting the recent Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) activity organized by the TFOE-PE Tubbataha Grand Eagles Club in collaboration with the City Health Office and the Psychologists Society of PSU.

In the wake of a devastating fire, our dedicated Mental Health Team, alongside doctors, psychologists, and nurses, stepped up to offer vital support to the affected individuals. From Psychological First Aid to Counseling sessions, our focus was on fostering healing and resilience among children, senior citizens, and adults.

Beyond emotional support, we extended our care by providing free hot meals and a special treat of ice cream for the children. As a gesture of solidarity, we donated clothing and essential items to further aid in the recovery process.

This video encapsulates the spirit of unity, kindness, and community resilience. Together, we stand strong, proving that with compassion and support, we can rebuild lives and communities.

🦅 Tubbataha Grand Eagles Club Empowers Community Reintegration with AKAP ng Agila and TATAK Puerto Initiatives! 🦅

On April 13, 2024, under the dynamic leadership of our Club's Vice President, Kuya Merrick, the TFOE-PE TGEC proudly supported the Completers of the Balay Silangan Reformation Program. Through our AKAP ng Agila (Agila Kontra Adiksyon at Pinagbabawal na droga) initiative, we organized a free haircut activity in collaboration with the City Health Office-City Government of Puerto Princesa's TATAK Puerto (Tuldukan At Talikuran ang Adiksyon Kaibigan) program.

Alongside this, our club also conducted an illegal drug use awareness campaign, emphasizing the importance of staying drug-free and promoting a healthier lifestyle.

These initiatives reflect our commitment to creating a safer, healthier, and drug-free Puerto Princesa. The free haircut symbolized new beginnings and resilience, while the awareness campaign aimed to educate and empower our community.

We stand united in our mission to support those in recovery and to prevent drug use through awareness, education, and community engagement.

Muli, naway magkaisa tayo sa 'Nagkakaisang mithiin upang mapangalagaan ang mamamayang Pilipino at mailayo sa masamang epekto ng ilegal na droga sa Puerto Princesa, Buong Probinsya ng Palawan at sa Buong Pilipinas.'

🦅COMMUNITY SERVICE from Tubbataha Grand Eagles Club🦅

In a collaborative effort with the City Health Office and valued partners like the Psychologists Society of PSU with their Faculties, the TFOE-PE Tubbataha Grand Eagles Club recently spearheaded a Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) activity for those affected by the recent fire. Our dedicated Mental Health Team, alongside doctors, Psychologists and nurses, provided vital support, with a focus on children, senior citizens, and adults.

Activities ranged from Psychological First Aid to Mental Health Consultations and Counseling sessions, aimed at fostering healing and resilience in the aftermath of the crisis.

Complementing the emotional support, the TGEC offered free hot meals for both the fire victims and health providers, with an extra treat of ice cream for the children after their psychological processing. As a gesture of solidarity, we also donated clothing and essential items, reinforcing our commitment to community well-being. Together, we stand strong, proving that kindness and support can rebuild lives.

As part of our Quarterly Program of Activities for EY 2023, we will be conducting a blood-letting activity at the SM Event Center, SM City Puerto Princesa, on July 09, 2023, from 9 am to 5 pm.

📣 Community Awareness Campaign against illegal drugs at the Taekwondo Cup Group Taekwondo Championship! 🥋💪

The Tubbataha Grand Eagles Club is proud to share the success of our Community Awareness Campaign against illegal drugs, held during the Taekwondo Cup Group Taekwondo Championship at Robinsons Mall Palawan. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the participants, parents, and esteemed organizations who made this event a remarkable one!

During this significant event, we organized informative lectures on the dangers of illegal drugs and the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle through engagement in sports such as Taekwondo. These engagements aimed to empower our young taekwondo players as well as their parents to educate them about the detrimental effects of substance abuse.

To further support our cause, the Tubbataha Grand Eagles Club provided advocacy flyers to all participants. These flyers serve as a valuable resource, emphasizing the importance of making informed decisions and saying no to drugs. Additionally, we ensured that each player stayed hydrated by providing water bottles, courtesy of the Tubbataha Grand Eagles Club.

This Community Awareness Campaign stands in unyielding solidarity with the AKAP ng Agila Program (Agila Kontra Adiksyon at Pinagbabawal na droga) and the City Health Office TATAK Puerto Program (Tuldukan at Talikuran and Adiksyon Kaibigan). Together with the dedicated nurses of the City Health Office CBDRP Team,the Taekwondo Coaches and City Sports Personnel,we strive to amplify the voice of the Anti-Illegal Drug Campaign and foster community awareness.
