OISPS also serves as the focal point for CHED reporting purposes, ensuring that all financial aid and scholarship programs comply with government regulations. It also directs, guide, and process student applications, determine eligibility for awards, and notify successful applicants of their awards. It is always available to consult with and advise administrators, faculty, staff, and students regarding financial aid programs, policies, procedures, and problems. To provide the best service possible, this office maintains up-to-date knowledge of trends in financial aid and scholarships, regulations, policies, and procedures.
