BREAKING || One participant from the bike fun ride event held at the Acacia Tunnel on Sunday had tested positive for COVID-19, according to reliable Palawan News informants.
The case, which involves a male patient, remains unlisted however in the local tally and city health authorities have yet to make an official announcement about it. According to the source, who asked not to be identified, the patient's infection was discovered through a saliva test, which is considered as an accepted RT-PCR testing procedure by the Department of Health (DOH).
The patient was confirmed to have attended the LED lighting of the new city attraction Acacia Tunnel in Barangay Inagawan last Sunday (March 7). The fun ride event recently drew thousands of participants who crowded the venue, that city officials said they did not anticipate. | via Romar Miranda
