๐About Us: The Global CFAH Project๐
Dedicated to fostering positive change, we are the Global CFAH Projectโa dynamic initiative working in the Philippines and three Small Island States: Fiji, St. Lucia.
๐ฑOur Mission๐ฑ
We strive to enhance diets, improve nutrition, and promote sustainable food systems. Creencia and a team of experts, we co-create 'living labs' and work closely with communities to
drive positive transformations.
๐What We Do๐
Our multidisciplinary team of public health, agricultural, fisheries, and social scientists collaborates with local communities. We aim to improve the health, social, and economic well-being of populations through community-based food production.
๐Key Focus Areas๐
- Evidence Synthesis:** Examining dietary quality and nutrition-related diseases in small island states.
- Filling Evidence Gaps:** Addressing gaps in data collection on dietary intake and mapping existing systems.
- Co-innovation Intervention:** Establishing a community of practice for enhanced diets and nutrition.
- Impact Modeling:** Assessing sustainability and resilience through an impact modeling approach.
๐Guided By๐
Guided by the NIHR Global Health Research Group and inspired by UN FAOโs 10 Elements of Agroecology, we work towards informed national and regional policies.
