Noong Setyembre 21, 1972, idineklara ang Batas Militar sa Pilipinas. Sa panahong ito, libo-libong Pilipino ang sapilitang dinukot, inaresto, inabuso, at dumanas ng iba pang uri ng paglabag sa karapatang pantao.

Hanggang ngayon, dala natin ang mga kuwento. Dala natin ang epekto.

Alalahanin. Intindihin. Sapagkat ang patuloy na ingay ng mga kuwento at alaala'y hindi madaling nabubura.

Huwag kalimutan. Huwag nang maulit.

𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐲!

The UP Diliman Department of Chemical Engineering is delighted to welcome and introduce our newest regular faculty members.

Joining the Department as assistant professors are 𝗗𝗿. 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗵 𝗡𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗳𝗮 𝗠. 𝗔𝗹𝗶, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗼 𝗠. 𝗟𝗮𝗼, 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗗𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗭𝗶𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗚. 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗮, and 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗔𝗹𝘃𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗿 𝗩. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻.

Dr. Ali, who earned both her MS and PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Department, remains with the Molecular Modelling Research Laboratory (MMRL).

Dr. Lao, who holds a PhD in Energy and Environmental Engineering from Kyushu University in Fukuoka, Japan, joins the Fuels, Energy and Thermal Systems Laboratory (FETS).

Engr. Manansala, who completed his MS in Chemical Engineering at the Department, stays with the Nanotechnology Research Laboratory (NRL), where he conducted his graduate research.

Engr. Martin, who also earned his MS in Chemical Engineering at the Department, remains with the Laboratory of Electrochemical Engineering (LEE), his graduate research laboratory.

We also warmly welcome 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗠𝗮. 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗠. 𝗔𝗯𝗮𝗴𝗼𝗻-𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘂𝗮𝗴, who joins the Department as a lecturer.

We are excited to see their contributions to the Department's teaching, research, and extension work moving forward. Welcome to UP DChE!

Hindi tayo papayag na ang mga huwad na pangako at makadayuhang patakaran ng rehimeng Marcos Jr. ay magsilbing mitsa ng mas malalang krisis at pandarambong sa ating bansa. Habang ibinebenta ang ating likas na yaman sa ngalan ng mapanirang Pax Silica, patuloy namang isinasakripisyo ang kapakanan ng mga mamamayan at ng kalikasan!
