In accordance with Memorandum Circular No. 135, issued by the Office of the President and posted on the Presidential Communications Office page, the UP Diliman (UPD) Office of the Chancellor announced that UPD will observe alternative arrangements for classes and work (except for essential offices) today, 10 September 2026.

Following the announcement of the Quezon City Government on its official page, the UP Diliman (UPD) Office of the Chancellor announced that face-to-face classes at UPD today, 9 September 2026, are suspended due to inclement weather. The members of the faculty are enjoined to conduct alternative modes of learning (synchronous/asynchronous).

Work operations in all UPD units shall remain onsite.

Due to the degraded air quality caused by haze from wildfires in Indonesia—a condition affecting Quezon City and the National Capital Region that is expected to persist over the coming days—the UP Diliman (UPD) Office of the Chancellor advised members of the UPD community to wear well-fitting face masks, particularly when commuting or outdoors.

Due to forecasted heavy rains and inclement weather conditions, please be advised that the Catch-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return (CNVR) Program scheduled for tomorrow, August 29, 2026, is officially POSTPONED.
