📚 Book Selection at MIBF 2026!

On September 9, 2026, the NEU Library Department, together with faculty members from the Integrated School (IS) and College of Engineering (COE) of the Main Campus and the NEU Branches, actively participated in the book selection activity at the Manila International Book Fair (MIBF) held at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia (MOA), Pasay City.

Through their knowledge, expertise, and careful selection of relevant titles, our faculty members help ensure that the NEU Library collection remains up-to-date, relevant, and responsive to the teaching, learning, and research needs of our students and academic programs.

NEU KWENTISTAS: THE ART OF STORYTELLING

The New Era University Library successfully conducted the seminar-workshop "NEU Kwentistas: The Art of Storytelling" on 24 July 2026 at the NEU Library Multipurpose Room, featuring our esteemed resource speaker, Ms Melanie A. Ramirez.

Together with the Integrated School (IS) Principal, Vice Principals, and IS faculty members, the activity inspired participants to appreciate the power of storytelling as a tool for learning, creativity, and meaningful communication.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Ms Melanie A. Ramirez for generously sharing her knowledge, experience, and expertise, making the seminar-workshop both engaging and enriching.

Signing of Memorandum of Agreement for STARBOOKS

On July 21, 2026, the New Era University Library proudly hosted the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Signing between New Era University (NEU) and the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) for the implementation of the STARBOOKS program.

This partnership marks another milestone in strengthening access to science, technology, and innovation resources for the NEU community. Through STARBOOKS, students, faculty, and researchers will have greater access to valuable digital information that supports learning, teaching, and research.

We extend our sincere gratitude to DOST and NEU key officials who made this collaboration possible. Together, we continue to promote knowledge, innovation, and lifelong learning.

Laughter, teamwork, and unforgettable moments filled the NEU Library Main Hall during Team Building 2026 on July 9, 2026. Library personnel from NEU Main Campus, NEU-Lipa, NEU-Pampanga, and NEU-Rizal came together for this meaningful activity. Through fun and interactive activities, the NEU Library family strengthened camaraderie, built trust, and reinforced the spirit of collaboration that drives us to deliver excellent library services.

2-Day 1st Library Conference (LibCon)✨📚

The NEU Library successfully conducted its 2-Day 1st Library Conference (LibCon) on July 9–10, 2026, at the NEU Library Multi-Purpose Room (MPR). The conference brought together library personnel from NEU Main Campus, NEU-Lipa, NEU-Pampanga, and NEU-Rizal to share knowledge and discuss current trends, innovations, and best practices in library and information services.

Through engaging presentations and meaningful discussions, participants strengthened their commitment to providing quality library services and fostering lifelong learning.
