βThe Municipality of San Fernando, Romblon proudly joins the celebration of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, carrying the theme:
ββBawat Kawani: Lingkod Bayani; Puso, Dangkal, at Galing Para sa Bayan.β

βThis celebration is more than just a series of activitiesβit is a reminder that behind every government program, public service, and assistance extended to the community are dedicated men and women who choose to serve with commitment, compassion, and excellence.

βThe celebration opened with a Thanksgiving Mass presided over by Rev. Fr. Cornelio Magramo, followed by the Flag Raising Ceremony led by our dedicated public servants, including Nikko D. Barabas for the opening prayer, Alberto R. Barabas Jr. for the Philippine National Anthem, and Darryl V. Perez for the Panunumpa ng Lingkod Bayan.

βIt was then followed by the Grand Civil Service Parade and an opening program that brought together the various government offices, agencies, and employees of San Fernando. The program featured meaningful moments The celebration was further enlivened by the singing of the Serbisyo Sibil Hymn and San Fernando Hymn, as well as the presentation of the ESC Banner.

βAdding energy and excitement to the occasion was an intermission performance Mr. Rens Moral and Mr. Jay-ar Navarro of RSUβSan Fernando Campus.

βThe opening remarks were delivered by Omega Jane C. Cometa, SAO, HRMO IV, while Hon. Fernando U. Marin, Municipal Mayor, shared an inspiring message emphasizing the importance of unity, dedication, and genuine service to the people.

βThe celebration also featured Mass Zumba Dancing led by Melissa Y. Rafol, followed by the presentation of participating delegations led by Ansel R. Yasul, Farm Supervisor I.
βLighting the Torch of Service: The Start of the Sports Events.
β
βOne of the highlights of this year's celebration is the Lighting of the Torch of Service, participated in by the Heads of the different agencies and offices.
βThe Municipality officially kicked off the βPalarong Lingkod Bayaniβ Sports Events with that Lighting of the Torch of Service, bringing together government employees in friendly competition, teamwork, and camaraderie. The sports activities will continue throughout September, culminating in the Championship on September 25, 2026.

βAs the torch of service has been lit, may it remind every public servant that the true spirit of government service shines brightest when we serve not only with our skills, but also with our hearts.
