NOW HAPPENING | CAPSU Partners with Provincial Health Office for Free TB Screening Activity

Capiz State University continues to strengthen its commitment to community health and public service as it partners with the Capiz Provincial Health Office for the conduct of an Active Case Finding (ACF) activity on May 28, 2026
The initiative, implemented through the Tuberculosis Implementation Framework Agreement (TIFA) funded by the United States State Department and carried out by the Japan Sanitary Inspection (JSI), aims to provide free chest X-ray screening to approximately 300 clients within the university community.

As partner agency and venue host, CapSU Main Campus will extend support through the provision of facilities, tables, chairs, and electricity necessary for the mobile X-ray van operation. T

The collaboration highlights CapSU’s active participation in public health programs and its dedication to promoting the welfare of students, employees, and the wider community. The activity also supports the National Tuberculosis Program’s campaign for early detection and increased awareness of tuberculosis prevention and control.
