Each participant demonstrated confidence, creativity, and competence in various activities that reflected the skills and abilities of future office professionals.

The event became more lively and meaningful as students actively participated, supported one another, and filled the venue with energy and enthusiasm. Adding more fun to the celebration was the scratch card activity, where students had the chance to win exciting prizes and enjoy memorable moments with their fellow BSOA students.

More than just a competition, BSOA Synergy 2026 became a celebration of unity, collaboration, and student excellence. The celebration marked a historic milestone for both the CFOA and the BSOA Department, being the first event of its kind held for the students. It gathered BSOA students in a day filled with learning, excitement, and meaningful experiences.

The program formally began with the energetic hosting of the masters of ceremony, Ms. Leny Campos and Mr. Herson De Jesus, both third-year students. Following the audio-visual presentations, the event officially opened through the welcoming remarks of the CFOA Adviser, Dr. Mireyneth U. Cuyopan, who warmly greeted everyone and expressed her support for the success of the program.

To keep the atmosphere lively and engaging, the hosts facilitated entertaining activities where students actively participated and enjoyed interacting with one another.

An inspirational message was then delivered by the BSOA Department Chairperson, Mme. Sam G. Rosal, who encouraged the students to continue striving for excellence in their chosen field. This was followed by inspiring messages from Dr. Rowena C. Villamil, Dean of SSAA; Dr. Josephine D. Reyes, Dean of CHMBAC; and Dr. Gudelia M. Samson, Campus Executive Director, who all shared their encouragement and support for the students and the organization.

The event was also honored by the attendance of distinguished university officials, namely Dr. Shirley L. Milanes, Dean of the College of Teacher Education; Mme. Jennifer E. Gangan, Dean of the College of Agribusiness Management; Dr. Lorena B. Echalar, Director for Extension Services; Dr. Cristina L. Javier, Center Head for History, Culture, Arts, and Innovation; and Dr. Janelle D. Rosal, Coordinator for Gender and Development. The participation of these respected university officials added honor and significance to the celebration, while also showing their encouragement and support for the BSOA students and the organization.

Ms. Elina Dern, a volunteer from California, USA, under the U.S. Peace Corps and Research and Extension Program, also shared an inspiring message during the event. She expressed her admiration for the unity, enthusiasm, and warm hospitality shown by the students throughout the celebration.

The proper program then followed, featuring different competitions designed to showcase the skills, talents, and competencies of BSOA students. The activities allowed the participants to demonstrate their knowledge, creativity, and professionalism in various office administration-related tasks.

Adding excitement to the celebration was the scratch card activity, where students had the chance to win different prizes, making the event even more memorable and enjoyable for everyone.

The success of this event would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of the organizers led by the CFOA OIC-Vice President, Mark Tyson Delos Santos, together with the third-year BSOA students in collaboration with the CFOA officers.

Preparations for the upcoming AACCUP Level III Survey Visit of the Bachelor of Science in Office Administration (BSOA) program continued as Pangasinan State University - San Carlos City Campus conducted its first onsite local accreditation on May 7, 2026, at the Campus Learning Resource Center.

Serving as local accreditors from the PSU Bayambang Campus were Dr. Ghana L. Cahatol and Asst. Prof. Sarah Jane M. Ferrer, who evaluated compliance documents and reviewed the four accreditation areas required for the Level III phase.

In her welcome remarks, Campus Executive Director Dr. Gudelia M. Samson emphasized the ongoing preparations being undertaken for the BSOA accreditation process.

โ€œPreparations for the BSOA Level III phase continue to demand collaboration, accuracy, and commitment from everyone involved. We also welcome the recommendations and observations of our local accreditors as these help us further strengthen our documentation and institutional practices,โ€ Dr. Samson stated.

Following the review and assessment of the documents, Dr. Cahatol, serving as Team Leader, provided recommendations and constructive observations on the submitted compliance materials and accreditation areas. The evaluation was likewise complemented by inputs from Asst. Prof. Ferrer.

Leading the preparation of accreditation documents and requirements were Ms. Reynante โ€œSamโ€ G. Rosal, Office Administration Chairperson, and Dr. Josephine D. Reyes, CHMBAC Dean, together with faculty members and local counterparts involved in the accreditation preparations.

The accreditation activity was organized by Mr. Jackson S. Soriano, Quality Assurance Coordinator, with assistance from Ms. Queenie B. Naraja, Document Control Custodian, and Ms. Unica Jean DC. Caoile, QA Staff.

Faculty members, department heads, and academic officials of Pangasinan State University - San Carlos City Campus joined representatives from Rizal Technological University (RTU) โ€“ Mandaluyong in an online academic exchange conducted via Zoom on May 6, 2026.

The knowledge-sharing session served as a venue for exploring academic practices, institutional strategies, quality assurance processes, and program innovations in higher education.

Discussions were conducted through virtual presentations, open forums, and exchanges of policies and operational practices among the participating institutions, allowing both universities to gather ideas that may contribute to improved instruction, research, extension, and student services.

The engagement also formed part of the preparation of the Bachelor of Science in Office Administration (BSOA) program for the upcoming AACCUP Level III Survey Visit, particularly in strengthening program operations, documentation, and institutional practices aligned with accreditation standards.

Representing PSUSC were Dr. Josephine D. Reyes, CHMBAC Dean; Ms. Reynante โ€œSamโ€ G. Rosal, Office Administration Chairperson; Mr. Dennis G.
