Held on February 13, 2026, at Balangaw Hall, the seminar gathered Third Year students for an informative and engaging discussion aimed at strengthening awareness and understanding of the provisions of R.A. 7877 and R.A. 11313.

The activity highlighted key topics such as the definition and forms of sexual harassment, gender-based harassment in public and online spaces, the rights of students and employees, institutional responsibilities, reporting mechanisms, and the legal remedies available to victims. Emphasis was placed on fostering accountability, respect, and proactive participation in creating safe learning environments.

Through this initiative, CPSU continues to promote a safe, inclusive, and gender-responsive campus community where dignity and human rights are upheld at all times.

This seminar aims to raise awareness and deepen understanding of the Anti-Sexual Harassment Act and the Safe Spaces Act, including their key provisions, the rights and responsibilities of students and personnel, available legal remedies, and the role of the university community in preventing gender-based sexual harassment. The activity seeks to promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive campus environment for all.

The activity will be held on 𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟭𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, from 𝟴:𝟬𝟬 𝗔𝗠 to 𝟭𝟮:𝟬𝟬 𝗡𝗡 at 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘄 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹.

The Student Admission and Facilitative Enhancement (S.A.F.E.) Center of Central Philippines State University – San Carlos Campus, in collaboration with the Office of the Student Services and Affairs (OSSA), Medical and Dental Health Unit, and the City Social Welfare and Development Office, successfully conducted a seminar on “Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004 (Republic Act No. 9262)”.

Held on February 12, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN at the CPSU Covered Court, the seminar gathered Second Year students in a meaningful discussion aimed at raising awareness and deepening understanding of the provisions of R.A. 9262.

The activity highlighted important topics including legal protections, available remedies, and the shared responsibility of individuals and institutions in preventing violence against women and their children. Through this initiative, CPSU continues to promote a safe, respectful, and gender-responsive campus community.
