For DCAT result viewing/printing:

Step 1:
Log in to your admission portal account at bit.ly/dmmmsu-admission.

Step 2:
Click on the DCAT result at the top of the screen.

Step 3:
View and click the "Print result".

Technoline News | MLUCโ€™s Best Thesis Selection; COT Wins Two Categories

The College of Technology (COT) emerged as one of the top-performing colleges during the Campus Selection for the Best Undergraduate Thesis/Research held on April 14, 2026, at the DMMMSU Mid La Union Campus.

Demonstrating strong research capability across disciplines, COT secured two out of four major categories, underscoring its commitment to innovation and applied research.

Leading the winners, Helmut F. Toledo of the BS Textile and Fashion Technology program clinched the top spot in the Information and Communication Technology Category with the study โ€œDevelopment and Evaluation of Designed Pattern.โ€

In the Health, Food and Nutrition Category, Eunice F. Aragon of the BS Food Technology program also earned first place with the research โ€œChocolate-Coated Protein Bar Enriched with Silkworm (Bombyx mori) Pupae Powder,โ€ highlighting sustainable and nutrition-focused innovation.

Meanwhile, other COT representatives also delivered notable performances. Michael Angelo C. Yante of the BS Electro-Mechanical Technology program presented โ€œGrass-Paper Processing Machineโ€ under the Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Category, while Hinlee Ken N. Ruiz competed in the Industrial Technology, Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Category with โ€œSolar-Powered IoT-Based Weather Monitoring System.โ€

๐ŸŽ‰ Congratulations to the BS Food Technology Program!

The BS Food Technology program has successfully achieved a Certificate of Compliance issued by the Professional Regulatory Board of Food Technology (PRBFT).

The inspection was conducted on March 24, 2026 at Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University โ€“ Mid La Union Campus, facilitated by Hon. Anthony C. Sales, PFT, CESO III, Hon. Mary Grace R. Mandigma, PFT, and Ms. Gladys D. Reyes.

The PRBFT monitoring aimed to observe, assess, and provide recommendations following the review of institutional compliance pursuant to the PRC Modernization Act of 2000, the Philippine Food Technology Act, and the Revised Guidelines on the Conduct of Inspection and Monitoring of Educational Institutions and Establishments.

This milestone reflects the departmentโ€™s commitment to continuous improvement and quality education, aligned with the vision and mission of the University.
