With heavy hearts, the Architecture Department mourns the passing of Ar. Bernard Valencia,a beloved instructor, mentor, and father figure to many.

Ar. Bernard taught us the value of perseverance, passion, and believing in ourselves even when the journey felt overwhelming. He was someone who never hesitated to give his time especially when we needed guidance the most.

He was not only a teacher inside the classroom, but also someone who brought light through his laughter and stories. He made the demanding life of an architecture student a little lighter and a lot more meaningful. Though his presence will be deeply missed, the lessons he shared and the memories we hold will remain with us forever.

We extend our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
