This Su***de Prevention Month, let us promote a community where mental health is given importance, seeking help is encouraged, and no one feels alone in facing their struggles.

As students of Public Administration, we believe that meaningful public service also means advocating for accessible support, inclusive communities, and people-centered programs that protect the well-being of every individual.

In line with SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being, we promote mental health awareness and access to support. SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities calls us to create spaces free from stigma and discrimination, while SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals reminds us that su***de prevention requires cooperation among individuals, communities, institutions, and organizations.

Let us use our voices to raise awareness, extend compassion, and encourage those who are struggling to reach out and seek help.

Yesterday, 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟑, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, at 𝟖:𝟎𝟎 𝐀𝐌, the 𝟑𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐊𝐢𝐜𝐤-𝐎𝐟𝐟 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 was successfully conducted at the 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭, 𝐃𝐌𝐌𝐌𝐒𝐔-𝐌𝐋𝐔𝐂, under the theme “𝑺𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑪𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒂𝒏 𝑶𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑪𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝑨𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑺𝒂𝒇𝒆𝒓 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒔” and sub-theme “𝑳𝒊𝒈𝒕𝒂𝒔 𝑲𝒂𝒃𝒂𝒕𝒂𝒂𝒏: 𝑲𝒂𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒏 𝒂𝒕 𝑲𝒂𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒂𝒏 𝒔𝒂 𝑺𝒂𝒌𝒖𝒏𝒂 𝒂𝒕 𝑷𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒃”.

The ceremony commenced with an opening prayer, followed by the acknowledgement of participants led by 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐫. 𝐈𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐃𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞 𝐀. 𝐇𝐢𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐨, Assistant Provincial Officer for La Union. This was followed by the warm welcome remarks of 𝐃𝐫. 𝐀𝐥𝐯𝐢𝐧 𝐑. 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐝𝐞𝐦, Chancellor of DMMMSU-MLUC.

𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐲. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐇𝐚𝐳𝐞𝐥 𝐃. 𝐆𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐚-𝐁𝐞𝐥𝐚-𝐨, Provincial Officer for La Union, formally introduced the Guest of Honor and Speaker, 𝐃𝐢𝐫. 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐮𝐬 𝐌. 𝐏𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐬, 𝐏𝐡𝐃, Regional Director of PDEA RO I, who delivered an inspiring and meaningful message emphasizing the importance of community safety, vigilance, and collective responsibility in preventing crime.

The program proceeded with the presentation of a token and plaque of appreciation to the Guest Speaker, in recognition of his valuable contribution to the celebration. This was followed by the 𝘗𝘢𝘨𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘺𝘢 𝘯𝘨 𝘔𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘺𝘢𝘯 𝘴𝘢 𝘗𝘢𝘨𝘩𝘢𝘥𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘢 𝘒𝘳𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘯, led by 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐲. 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐃. 𝐀𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐚, Acting Assistant Regional Director of NAPOLCOM RO I, and the meaningful Signing of Commitment among participating officials and stakeholders.

The ceremony culminated in an Aggressive Behaviour and Safety Response Drill, designed to strengthen practical knowledge, preparedness, and appropriate responses during emergency situations.

We extend our deepest appreciation to 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐲. 𝐆𝐞𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐞 𝐀𝐭𝐥𝐚𝐬 𝐃. 𝐃𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐨, CESO IV, Regional Director of NAPOLCOM RO I, the distinguished officials and stakeholders, and the administration of DMMMSU-MLUC for their unwavering support and commitment to advancing safer, more secure, and resilient communities.

BUWAN NG WIKA 2026 | “Wika: Susi sa Pagkakaisa, Tungo sa Makabuluhang Paglilingkod”

Sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika 2026, ating pahalagahan ang wikang Filipino bilang buhay na salamin ng ating kultura, pagkakakilanlan, at pagkakaisa bilang isang bansa.

Ang wika ay hindi lamang kasangkapan sa pakikipagtalastasan—ito ay tulay na nag-uugnay sa bawat Pilipino, daluyan ng ating mga saloobin, at mahalagang sandigan sa pagtataguyod ng makabuluhang serbisyo at responsableng pamamahala.

Sa bawat salitang binibigkas, nawa’y manaig ang pagmamahal sa bayan, paggalang sa kapwa, at malasakit sa sambayanan.

Ipagmalaki ang sariling wika. Ipagdiwang ang kulturang Pilipino. Gamitin ang wika para sa pagkakaisa at tapat na paglilingkod.
