The Campus Development and Sustainability Office's Quarterly Meeting was held last 21 March 2025 at the Cafe Luis. The meeting, which was started at 9:00 AM, aimed to gather inputs from the office personnel on innovative green initiatives and projects, and prospects for campus infrastructure. Likewise, the meeting served as an opportunity for the CDSO personnel to be reminded of their collective commitment in creating a more sustainable eco-friendly campus for students, and employees.

Campus Development and Sustainability Office Leads Preparations for SLC’s 61st Founding Anniversary

As Saint Louis College gears up for its 61st Founding Anniversary, the Campus Development and Sustainability Office (CDSO) took the lead in ensuring a clean and safe environment for all.

On February 25, 2025, the CDSO conducted extensive clean-up and disinfection activities, including the cleaning of the covered walk’s roof and the disinfection of Junior and Senior High School classrooms, faculty rooms, and laboratories. To further enhance safety, they also carried out a Misting Blower Treatment to control flying insects. Both disinfection and misting blower treatments were both done with 8 Solutions Pest Control Services.

These efforts reflect the office’s commitment to maintaining a well-kept and secure campus for students, employees, and all stakeholders.

SLC-SFLU CDSO spearheaded Basic First Aid Training

The Campus Development and Sustainability Office (CDSO) conducted Basic First Aid Training today, February 22, 2025 at HS AVR. The activity was participated in by the school’s maintenance personnel. The aim of the activity is to train them to provide immediate attention to sick or injured persons within the school’s premises and further preventing unfortunate scenarios from worsening while waiting for medical care. This is in consonance with the efforts of the institution to provide a safe environment to all the stakeholders, especially the students.

During the training, Mr. Christian Dominique Calderon, the Campus Safety Supervisor, discussed and presented ways to handle basic emergency scenarios and address arising concerns, such as injuries and life-threatening situations. The training equipped the CDSO maintenance personnel with basic knowledge on preserving life and preventing further injury.

SLC-SFLU CDSO continues to initiate activities that prioritize the safety of the students, faculty, and staff as well as the entire Louisian community.

To ensure the safety of our students, employees, and stakeholders, the Campus Development and Sustainability Office (CDSO) initiated the MIST BLOWER TREATMENT FOR FLYING INSECTS (MOSQUITOES) of the entire campus on September 8, 2024, by our service provider, 8 Solutions Pest Control Services.
This initiative will be conducted twice a month.
