The 238th Department of Military Science and Tactics Office β City College of San Jose Del Monte β Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) Unit successfully conducted a Firing Activity at πππ½πππ ππ₯π€π§π©π¨ πππ§ππ£π πππ£ππ ππ£ ππͺπ‘π€π/πππ£ πππ£πππ£π©π, πππ£π©π πππ§ππ, π½πͺπ‘ππππ£, participated in by dedicated Basic Cadets and Cadet Officers. The event was supervised and guided by the πΎπ€π’π’ππ£πππ£π©, πππΎ ππππππΌπππ πΌ ππΌππππΌπ ππΌππ (πππΎ), together with πΎπ€π‘π‘πππ ππ§ππ¨ππππ£π© πΏπ. πππππ π. πΌππ½ππΏπΌ, whose presence and support ensured the smooth flow of the activity.
The activity commenced with a comprehensive safety briefing and weapons orientation, followed by practical demonstrations on proper handling, loading, and firing techniques. Cadets underwent hands-on marksmanship training at the firing line, engaging in live-fire exercises under strict supervision to develop their shooting accuracy, stance, and breath control. The activity also included familiarization with firearm safety protocols, immediate action drills, and range discipline to instill a culture of responsibility and precision among the cadets.
The purpose of this firing activity is to enhance the marksmanship skills, weapon handling proficiency, and tactical discipline of the cadets. It serves as a hands-on training exercise designed to build confidence in firearm operations, reinforce safety consciousness, and develop the mental composure required in high-pressure situations. Furthermore, the activity aims to assess individual shooting capabilities, identify areas for improvement, and ensure that Basic Cadets and Cadet Officers are well-trained, disciplined, and operationally ready to fulfill their duties with competence and professionalism.
