The City College of San Jose del Monte (CCSJDM) proudly participated in Pistang Dumagat 2026 on October 28, 2026, at Sitio Karahume, Barangay San Isidro, San Jose del Monte City, in celebration of Indigenous Peoples’ Month and the 29th Anniversary of the Indigenous Peoples’ Rights Act (IPRA).

As a proud member of the Guild of Responsive Education in Arya San Jose del Monte (GREAT), CCSJDM, through its Tourism Advocacy for Leadership and Academics (TALA), joined this meaningful community initiative with six selected BSTM 1A students and the BSTM OIC Program Chair. The team conducted a gift-giving activity for the YAPAK Tour Guides in recognition of their valuable contributions to local tourism and cultural heritage. 🎁💚

CCSJDM extends its sincere appreciation to the City Government of San Jose del Monte, Mayor Ate Rida Robes, the City Tourism Office, the Dumagat community, and the Guild of Responsive Education in Arya San Jose del Monte (GREAT) for their commitment to cultural preservation, community engagement, and meaningful public service.

Through this initiative, CCSJDM reaffirms its commitment to education beyond the classroom, respect for Indigenous Peoples, and the promotion of responsible tourism. 🌱💚

On October 28, 2026, in support of inclusivity, compassion, and equal opportunities for every child, the Criminology Interns of 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐟, 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐀𝐂𝐒, conducted an 𝑶𝒖𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒎 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑰𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒐𝒖𝒔 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 in Barangay San Isidro, City of San Jose del Monte, Bulacan.
Through the distribution of food packs to Indigenous Peoples (IP) elementary students, the initiative promoted unity, compassion, and community engagement. More than providing assistance, it reflected the criminology community’s commitment to inclusivity, respect for diversity, and meaningful service beyond the classroom.

Under the leadership of 𝗢𝗜𝗖 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝘀. 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝘇𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝗖. 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗯𝘂𝗵𝗮𝗻, the City College of San Jose del Monte (CCSJDM) remains steadfast in carrying out its commitment as it continues to deepen its knowledge and stabilize its preparedness in building nursing education, thus, the meaningful reason for conducting another benchmarking visit to another institution, which was in 𝗕𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝗕𝗨𝗟𝗦𝗨) - 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗮𝗳𝗮𝗲𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 on October 28, 2026, focusing on best practices in the Nursing Program under the leadership of 𝗗𝗿. 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗹𝗱𝗮 𝗟. 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮, 𝗕𝘂𝗹𝗦𝗨 - 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗮𝗳𝗮𝗲𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗻, 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 the 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗥𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗱 𝗗𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝘀. 𝗠𝗮. 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗥𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗥. 𝗖𝗿𝘂𝘇, 𝗥𝗟, 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻.

Representing CCSJDM during the visit were 𝗠𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝗲𝗹 𝗖. 𝗖𝗿𝘂𝘇, Head of the Office of Institutional Governance and Assurance (OIGA), together with 𝗗𝗿. 𝗥𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝗮𝘆 𝗖. 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗼, Vice President for Research, Innovation and Internationalization, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗘. 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗰𝗼, Vice President for Student Affairs and Services, and other members of the CCSJDM Administrative Council.

Part of the valuable insights gained from the benchmarking activity provided by BULSU's Nursing Program were in the areas of curriculum development, quality assurance, instructional resources, faculty development, and research engagement. Among the notable practices shared were the strict implementation of a standard syllabus format, where they emphasized that these should be aligned with the institution's Vision, Mission, and Goals; their course outcomes connected to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs); clearly specified learning modes in course syllabi; and the integration of updated library references and learning resources.
Moreover, the CCSJDM representatives learned about and examined the university's nursing facilities and simulation laboratories, faculty qualification standards, including active RN licenses, advanced academic credentials, and professional organization memberships, as well as faculty training programs that aim to help strengthen instructional competencies. During the discussions, the importance of community and hospital affiliations through Memoranda of Agreement (MOA) was further highlighted, including partnerships with public and private hospitals and the requirement of a base hospital with a minimum 100-bed capacity. Another thing emphasized was the school's research culture that encourages both faculty members and nursing students to actively participate in scholarly work and research competitions.

This benchmarking primarily illustrates the continuation of CCSJDM’s commitment to institutional excellence, especially in establishing a well-developed and quality nursing education program in the future, and the adoption of innovative and impactful academic practices that will benefit future healthcare professionals from CCSJDM.

On October 26, 2026, in recognition of the wisdom, sacrifices, and invaluable contributions of our senior citizens, the Criminology Interns of 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐅𝐨𝐱𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐭, 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐀𝐂𝐒, conducted the “𝑬𝒍𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒍𝒚 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒆” outreach program in Barangay San Martin III, City of San Jose del Monte, Bulacan.
Through donations of essential goods, including milk, adult diapers, oatmeal, hygiene kits, and other daily necessities, alongside fun activities, storytelling, and moments of fellowship, the initiative brought warmth and happiness to our beloved lolos and lolas. Beyond the material support, this activity was a heartfelt reminder that they deserve not only care, but also time, companionship, and the simple joy of feeling remembered and appreciated. For the criminology community, service means more than giving; it means honoring the generation that helped shape our communities and ensuring that our elders continue to feel loved, valued, and never forgotten. ❤️

𝑩𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒏𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝒉𝒐𝒑𝒆, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆.

Beyond being proud, the City College of San Jose del Monte (CCSJDM) is filled with so much admiration and encouragement for another successful and inspiring event entitled “Sibol Para sa Panimula: A Sustainable Training Program for Dumagat Community,” initiated by the Junior Social Workers Association of the Philippines (JSWAP–CCSJDM) from the Bachelor of Science in Social Work (BSSW), which brought inspiration, hope, and positive change within the community.

The “Sibol Para sa Panimula” is an outreach project of JSWAP–CCSJDM for the Dumagat community. The activity, held on October 25, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Punduhan, Sitio Hulo, Barangay San Mateo, Norzagaray, Bulacan, aimed to provide practical support and learning opportunities to the beneficiaries through urban gardening, community-based activities, and the encouragement of active participation among community members. It highlights the importance of community involvement, cooperation, and support, particularly for the Dumagat community.

The success of the program was made possible and even more impactful as 𝗝𝗦𝗪𝗔𝗣–𝗖𝗖𝗦𝗝𝗗𝗠 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺. Through this partnership, various meaningful activities were conducted, including training for the community, actual demonstrations of planting and gardening, and the distribution of planting and gardening souvenirs to the beneficiaries.

We would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to our local government, headed by Mayor Florida Robes and Congressman Arthur Robes, for their unwavering support and to our OIC President, Ms. Eleziel C. Cantimbuhan. Likewise, we thank Dr. John Marie E. Malco, Vice President for Student Affairs and Services; together with Dr. Dominic Q. Taday, OIC of the Student Affairs Office and Student Organizations; and Mr. Jeffrey B. Valiente, OIC of Community Extension Service, not just for joining but also for actively participating in the activities, such as the planting and gardening session.

As we witness the activities and experiences of all those involved in the event, may we continue supporting initiatives that help communities and encourage everyone to take part in community service programs such as this.

If your Student ID has been lost, kindly follow the procedures outlined below to request a replacement.
📌 PROCEDURE FOR STUDENT ID REPLACEMENT
1️⃣ Report the Loss – Report your lost ID to the Student Affairs Office (SAO).
2️⃣ Complete the Requirements – Accomplish the Lost Identification Card – Report and Request Form and submit an Affidavit of Loss.
3️⃣ Pay the Replacement Fee – Pay the ₱150.00 replacement fee at the Executive Office through Ms. Guinevere Feliciano.
4️⃣ Submit Your Documents – Secure the Official Receipt and submit a copy, together with all required documents, to the MIS Office.
5️⃣ Wait for Verification – Allow the MIS Office to verify your documents and process your replacement ID.
