The Bachelor of Science in Community Development is the new program offered by Partido State University that aims to:
* Prepare the students with substantial knowledge and skills in community development and other allied courses for their future social work and professional careers.
* Develop the students’ research skills that will generate opportunities to establish empirical evidence and theore

tical corroboration for community development.
* Facilitate training, seminars, workshops, and other extension activities to address the socio-economic and ecological needs of the community.
* Exemplify high moral values, social responsibilities, and ethical standards as community development professionals.

𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 | Chavez highlights cultural understanding at ParSU-Salogon ASEAN celebration

Emphasizing the value of cultural diversity and understanding, San Jose Municipal Councilor Mark Gem β€œMak” Chavez joined students and faculty of Partido State University (ParSU)–Salogon Campus during the UNIFIESTA ASEAN Celebration on August 26, 2026.

Centered on the theme β€œUniting Cultures, Celebrating Together,” the event brought the academic community together to celebrate the diverse cultures and shared heritage of Southeast Asian nations through activities that promoted cultural appreciation and solidarity.

Serving as an honored guest, Chavez underscored that each ASEAN country possesses a distinct culture shaped by its people, traditions, and way of life.

A new academic year is set to begin, bringing the Partido State University community together on Monday, August 3, 2026, at 7:30 AM, for the Opening Program and Flag Ceremony, to be held simultaneously across the University's seven campuses.

The opening program signals the start of AY 2026-2027 and renews the University's collective commitment to excellence, service, and inclusiveness as students, faculty, and staff embark on another year of learning and growth.
