Colegio de San Leonardo (CDSL), College of Nursing, celebrates a significant milestone through its 1st Capping, Pinning, and Candle Lighting Ceremony, with the theme “Bearing the Light of Care: Embracing the Noble Calling of Nursing.”
The ceremony marks an important step in the journey of student nurses as they embrace the values of compassion, dedication, integrity, and service. It also serves as a reminder that nursing is more than a profession—it is a commitment to care for others with skill and a heart for service.
The occasion was especially honored by the presence of Municipal Mayor and Chairman of the Board, Hon. Niña Pauline N. Joson, whose continued support for Colegio de San Leonardo remains instrumental in its growth and development. The ceremony was also graced by CDSL College President Dr. Chris Evert T. Inoncillo, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Cleah D. Pestaño, proud parents, and distinguished guests from the healthcare profession. The event also featured Pinky Miriam D. Canlas, RN, MAN, as the guest speaker, who shared an inspiring message with the future nurses.
Congratulations to our student nurses and their proud parents on this meaningful milestone. Special recognition and appreciation are also extended to the entire College of Nursing faculty and staff, under the leadership of their Dean, Dr. Efreim Louie S. Ilano, for their dedication, hard work, and commitment in making this historic ceremony a success.
As the students move forward in their nursing journey, may they continue to carry the light of care and uphold the noble calling of serving humanity.
