“𝐃𝐢𝐝𝐧’𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠: ‘𝐊𝐮𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚 𝐧𝐚 𝐤𝐚𝐲𝐨 𝐝’𝐲𝐚𝐧?’”

In the field of mental health, people often assume that those who are involved in this line are always emotionally and mentally stable. That they should know how to handle their own emotions, stay composed in every situation, and understand everyone around them. As if being in psychology program automatically makes a person immune from being vulnerable.

But the truth is, spending time learning about human behavior to understand, comfort, and be emotionally available for others sometimes makes them forget that they also need help—the very same care they extend to others.

And maybe that is the irony of being in the field of mental health—we are being trained to understand human’s pain deeply, yet people rarely realize that we carry our own too. So remember that they are still human—capable of having their own silent battles and be broken despite being expected to stay strong for others.

So please kumustahin n’yo rin naman kami kasi sobrang sakit na.
