On April 23, 2026, the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers โ€“ University of Antique Student Chapter marked PICE-UASC Day 2026, a vibrant celebration dedicated to strengthening unity, encouraging creativity, and nurturing well-rounded future civil engineers. The day began with an uplifting message from CEA OIC-Dean, Dr. Sammy V. Militante, reminding students to pause from the pressures of midterms and enjoy the moment. Soon after, the stage came alive as each group, together with their BSCE faculty, delivered energetic performancesโ€”showcasing not only talent, but also teamwork, confidence, and school spirit. A festive atmosphere filled the campus during the fiesta-themed lunch, where students and faculty shared food prepared by each section. This gathering highlighted the values of cooperation, generosity, and the true essence of community within PICE-UASC.

In the afternoon, participants took on the Challenge Trail, a series of team-building activities that tested their leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Laughter echoed across the campus as everyone bonded and created lasting memories. The excitement carried on into the evening with the much-awaited Mr. and Ms. PICE-UASC 2026: Baliktaran Edition, bringing fun, inclusivity, and creativity to center stage. The crowd was filled with cheers as candidates confidently expressed themselves in this unique and entertaining highlight of the celebration. To cap off the day, students and faculty gathered for a lively disco with the CEA Bandโ€”ending the celebration with music, laughter, and a stronger sense of connection. The Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers โ€“ University of Antique Student Chapter (PICE-UASC) successfully hosted MATHalino 2026: 3rd Interschool Quiz Bowl, bringing together some of the brightest young minds in Antique. The event was held on March 16, 2026, at the University of Antique โ€“ Main Campus.

The competition gathered participating schools from across the province, including Saint Anthony's College โ€“ High School Department, Concepcion L. Cazeรฑas Memorial School, Belison National School, Col. Ruperto Abellon National School, Saint Joseph Academy, Antique National School, and University of Antique Laboratory High School โ€“ Main Campus, all showcasing their excellence, teamwork, and passion for mathematics.

After an intense and exciting battle of wits, Belison National School (Team 3) emerged as the Champion, followed by Antique National School (Team 6) securing 1st Place, and Belison National School (Team 17) claiming 2nd Place.

The quiz bowl was filled with challenging rounds that tested the studentsโ€™ analytical thinking, speed, and problem-solving skills, making the event both competitive and inspiring.

PICE-UASC extends its heartfelt gratitude to all participating schools, dedicated coaches, and hardworking student organizers who were assigned vital roles to ensure the success of this event. Special thanks are also given to the faculty members and University of Antique staff for their unwavering support.
