PNP Good Deeds

While conducting mobile patrolling, personnel of Piddig Municipal Police Station assisted a motorist whose vehicle got stuck after hitting a large rock along the roadside.

Through immediate assistance and a helping hand, our police personnel ensured the motorist’s safety and helped resolve the situation.

On September 1, 2026, the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) under the leadership of PMGEN REDRICO A MARANAN, Director, PNPA, who was duly represented by PBGEN ROLAND V BULALACAO, Acting Deputy Director, PNPA, who served as the Keynote Speaker formally opened the Introduction to Cybercrime Investigation Course (ICIC), held at the PNPA Academics Hall, Camp General Mariano N Castañeda, Silang, Cavite.

A total of 50 Police Commissioned Officers and Non-Commissioned Officers will undergo the course to enhance their knowledge and competencies in cybercrime investigation and strengthen their capability to address emerging cyber threats.

The conduct of the ICIC forms part of the Director’s Swift, Forthright, and Comprehensive Reforms, particularly in providing relevant and responsive training programs that strengthen the professional capabilities of police personnel in addressing contemporary challenges in law enforcement and public safety.

Reyes extended assistance to one of the residents of Cabu­sao, Camarines Sur, by providing food packs as a simple act of compassion and goodwill. Makulay na ginunita ng Akademya ng Pambansang Pulisya ng Pilipinas (PNPA), sa pamumuno ni PMGEN REDRICO A MARANAN, ang Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa Dalawang Libo Dalawampu’t Anim (2026) na may temang “Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon.” Kaisa sa makabuluhang pagdiriwang ang Pangunahing Panauhin at Tagapagsalita na si PBGEN DOMINIC L BACCAY, tumatayong Regional Direktor ng Tanggapan ng Pulisya sa Rehiyon 4A.Idinaos ang masiglang Pangwakas na Pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika 2026 sa PNPA New Mess Hall, Camp General Mariano N Castañeda, Silang, Cavite, ngayong Agosto 24, 2026.

Sa pamamagitan ng iba’t ibang makabuluhang gawain, muling naipakita ng PNPA ang kahalagahan ng wikang Filipino bilang buhay na bahagi ng ating kultura at pagkakakilanlan, gayundin bilang mahalagang kasangkapan sa pagkatuto, pananaliksik, at pagbabahagi ng kaalaman sa makabagong panahon.

Bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang, isinagawa rin ang Pagpaparangal sa mga Nagwagi sa iba’t ibang Patimpalak sa Buwan ng Wika. Ang pagkilala sa kanilang kahusayan at talento ay nagsilbing patunay na ang wikang Filipino ay patuloy na yumayabong sa pamamagitan ng malikhaing pagpapahayag, talino, at pakikilahok ng bawat miyembro ng Akademya.

Sa huli, ipinapaalala ng pagdiriwang na ang makabagong teknolohiya, kabilang ang Artipisyal na Intelihensiya (AI), ay maaaring maging katuwang sa pagpapalawak ng kaalaman, ngunit nananatiling mahalaga ang wikang Filipino bilang tulay sa pag-unawa, paglikha, at pagbabahagi ng impormasyon.

The Straight Shooters Gun Club, Inc., in partnership with the PNPA Advisory Council, successfully conducted Shoot for a Cause 2026 on August 22, 2026, at the PNPA Firing Range, Camp General Mariano N Castañeda, Silang, Cavite.

More than a gathering of shooting enthusiasts, this meaningful activity served as a testament to the spirit of unity, shared purpose, and cooperation in supporting the Academy’s continuing development.

The funds raised from Shoot for a Cause will be directly allocated for the renovation and development of the Lakan Museum, the improvement and enhancement of the PNPA Shooting Range facilities, and the implementation of other development projects aimed at further strengthening the training, education, and overall development of the Academy’s cadets.

The PNPA extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Straight Shooters Gun Club, Inc., the PNPA Advisory Council, sponsors, participants, and all those who supported this undertaking for their generosity and continued support, which made the realization of this noble and meaningful endeavor possible.

On August 24, 2026, the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) held its Flag Raising Ceremony and Distinguished Visitors Program with PMGEN RODERICK AUGUSTUS B ALBA, the Director for Police Community Relations, as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.

In his message, PMGEN ALBA emphasized the importance of keeping your faith, respecting the uniform you wear, leading from the heart, and staying united and serving as one strong family.

He reminded the cadets and personnel that faith provides strength and guidance, while the police uniform carries the responsibility to uphold honor, integrity, and dignity at all times. He further underscored that genuine leadership must come from the heart, recognizing that behind every police uniform is a human being who deserves respect, compassion, and understanding. Finally, he stressed the importance of unity, encouraging everyone to stand together and work as one strong family in fulfilling the mission of the police service.

As the PNPA continues to shape the next generation of police leaders, it expresses its heartfelt gratitude to PMGEN ALBA for his dedication and service to the PNP.
