SJCSI CIT gears up for 2023 Grand Alumni Homecoming and Festival

SJCSI College of Information Technology had laid out its plans for the upcoming Grand Alumni Homecoming and Festival for 2023. Spearheaded by the energetic Dean, Dr. George Caroro, Assistant Dean, Sherwin S. Lapong, CIT faculty members, Mr. Riel Rivas, Mr. Peter Tagapan, and Mr. Reynier Bagasina, former and incumbent department governors attended the strategic planning and shared their opinions, insights and expertise for the event.

The incoming grand event aims to reconnect, network, and share ideas with the current and former students of the College of Information Technology.

These are just a few of the many exciting activities to look out for at the event.
- Gather with fellow IT alumni to build relationships and discuss industry trends and opportunities.
- Hear alumni share their professional experiences and offer advice on career paths and success in the IT industry.
- Reconnect with old friends and make new ones over an evening of food, drinks, and conversation.
- Celebrate the achievements of their peers and be inspired by their stories of success.
- Learn from experts in the field about the latest advancements in technology and their implications for the future.

Moreover, election of pioneering set of officers from the different batches also transpired during the strategic planning who are as follows:

President: Vanmark B. Gonzaga (2015)
Vice President: Roxen Abapo (2021)
Secretary: Lesley Carvajal-Gimolatan (2014)
Treasurer: Geraldine Temporada-Cadungog (2015)
Auditor: Vincent Ubas (2014)
Project Manager: Ian Kirk Pumicpic (Incumbent CIT governor)
Communications Officer: Rhine Partol (Incumbent PSITS Vice President)

The officers have decided to appoint committee heads and members to assist in the management of tasks and activities.

The former and present governors and PSITS officers and the pioneering set of association officers pledged their support for the event and promised to provide the necessary resources and assistance for the event's success.

The Strategic Planning will be followed by a series of meetings to ensure that the grandest event will be an extraordinary success.
