The College of Computer Studies-Student Body Organization (CCS-SBO) hosted back-to-back events this October, holding a Teachers' Day Celebration on October 12 followed by the Special Interest Group (SIG) Orientation on October 14.

The week began with the Teachers' Day Celebration, dedicated to honoring faculty members for their hard work and guidance. Students showed their gratitude through various live performances and shared a special post-birthday greeting for Dr. Francis Balahadia, CCS Dean.

The celebration featured talent from across the college, starting with a high-energy dance performance from Code Groove, CAF Hiphop Dance Battle 5th Place, and Apollo Band, Champions of the CAF Live Band Competition, closed out the program with popular hits like "Panaginip," "Mundo," and "Tropa."

On October 14, CCS-SBO shifted focus to student development with its annual SIG Orientation. The event aimed to encourage studentsโ€”especially first-year fiery foxes to join specialized student groups to build skills and connect with peers. During the orientation, student leaders presented five organizations tailored to different interests: SPADE for programming and coding led by Director Leonard Andrei Resplandor, Robotix for hardware technology focused on robotics under Director Rayver Sumadsad, NetAc for networking and practical skills headed by Director John Paul Manalo, Graphicos for photography, videography and visual content by Director Sammuelson Eliseo, and News Code for journalism headed by Director Joice Ollyn San Luis.

Together, the two events highlighted the CCS community's commitment to recognizing educators while actively supporting student growth and participation.
