Newly-Appointed Chief Intern Erick N. Alabat emphasized that genuine leadership is not measured by the number of followers one has, but by the ability to inspire, empower, and help others become leaders themselves.

His meaningful words serve as a reminder for every Criminology Intern to lead with integrity, encourage growth, and inspire unity as they continue striving toward excellence and public service.

As darkness approached and the night grew wilder, the Mafia hierarchy gathered as one. This night belonged to the seniorsโ€”the true Dons of our empire. They ruled the yard, set the standard, and left behind a legacy that no one could ever replace. Sharp suits, deep loyalties, and one final toast to the graduating criminology students.

On May 21, 2026, the College of Criminology celebrated the success of its seniors at the CBSUA-Sipocot Cultural Hall. The event started with the singing of the Philippine National Anthem and an invocation led by Ms. Macielo Rodriguez. The masters of ceremony, Mr. Mark Lawrence Bino and Ms. Francine Mae Masayes, introduced Ms. Franleona Cervantes, who delivered the opening remarks, followed by Ms. Jazhlei Shane Catangui, who shared her words of gratitude.

Thereafter, the Dean of the College of Criminology, Dr. Dionesia R. Beraรฑa, delivered an inspirational message. During her speech, she emphasized the importance of carrying the attitudes of three animals: eagles for their focus, lions for their fearlessness, and wolves for their strong ex*****on. After her meaningful message, the students of the College of Criminology performed an engaging intermission number.

As the night continued, music filled the surroundings and everyone swayed to the beat as if hypnotized by the energy of the celebration. Following the showdown, awards and certificates were presented to deserving students.

The night went on with laughter, joy, and unforgettable memories shared by everyone present. It became a celebration made even more meaningful because of the seniors who inspired those around them. As the quote says, โ€œLETโ€™S HONOR THE PAST, CELEBRATE THE PRESENT, AND TOAST TO THE FUTURE.โ€

These meaningful words from Guest of Honor and Speaker, PLtCol Santos J Tagomata Jr., Deputy Provincial Director for Administration, reminds graduates that challenges are not barriers to success, but stepping stones toward growth and excellence. Every hardship encountered along the journey serves as preparation for the responsibilities and realities of the profession they are destined to embrace.

As future public servants, they must continue to pursue their goals with courage and determination. May these words inspire them to face every obstacle with resilience, knowing that each struggle shapes them into stronger, wiser, and more capable individuals ready to serve with integrity and purpose.

A moment of pride, honor, and achievement unfolded as the Batch Makisig 2026 Criminology interns of CBSUA-Sipocot gathered for the Program Proper leading to their graduation and awarding ceremony.

The event commenced with a solemn processional and entrance of colors, followed by an invocation and the singing of the Philippine National Anthem performed by the CBSUA Band.

Welcome remarks were delivered by Dr. Lelia C. Taya-Furto, Program Chairperson of BS Criminology. This was followed by an inspiring message from Prof. Rowel M. Castuera, Campus Administrator, who encouraged the graduates to uphold integrity, discipline, and service as future criminology professionals.

One of the highlights of the ceremony was the presentation of candidates for graduation by Dr. Dionesia R. Beraรฑa, Dean of College of Criminology who formally presented the 289 candidates who successfully completed their internship program. This was followed by the declaration of graduates from Prof. Rowel M. Castuera.

Awards and certificates were then distributed in recognition of the graduates' IOCC aspirants, and partner agencies.

Prof. Jackie C. Luna, OJT Supervisor, introduced and presented the Guest of Honor and Speaker, PLtCol Santos J Tagomata Jr., Deputy Provincial Director for Administration.

In his inspirational speech, he emphasized the importance of courage, perseverance, and readiness in facing the realities of their chosen profession. He reminded the graduates that challenges and hardships are part of their journey and that these experiences will help mold them into disciplined, responsible, and effective future public servants.

Indeed, this celebration marks not only the end of an academic chapter but also the beginning of a greater mission to serve the community with honor and excellence.

Congratulations, Batch Makisig!
