๐—๐˜‚๐—ป๐—ฒ ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿฎ, ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿด๐Ÿต๐Ÿดโ€” a nation, weary of chains, stood up and declared itself free. Not with permission. Not with compromise. But with the full, unshakeable conviction that this land and its people deserved better.

One hundred and twenty-eight years have passed since that declaration. The faces have changed, the battles have taken new formsโ€” but the promise that was made on that June still stands, still watches, still waits.

And yet, history is not merely something we look back on. It is the very ground we stand on. Every law we live under, every right we exercise, every freedom we take for granted was paid for by someone who had none of it. To forget that is not just carelessnessโ€” it is a quiet betrayal of everything they died for.

On the afternoon of June 8, incoming Electrical Engineering freshmen gathered at the Engineering Building for the ๐‘บ๐’•๐’–๐’…๐’†๐’๐’•๐’” ๐‘ถ๐’-๐’ƒ๐’๐’‚๐’“๐’…๐’Š๐’๐’ˆ ๐’‚๐’๐’… ๐‘ถ๐’“๐’Š๐’†๐’๐’•๐’‚๐’•๐’Š๐’๐’. The orientation provided them with valuable insights and foundational knowledge for their Bridging Class, serving as a stepping stone toward their journey in Electrical Engineering.

Afterward, a series of organized games prepared by the IIEE-SC were conducted to help the freshmen become acquainted with one another. These activities encouraged them to build new friendships, socialize, and foster a sense of camaraderie among their fellow future engineers.

The event was an overall success, made possible through the collaborative efforts, cooperation, and dedication of the IIEE-SC.

The activity gathered approximately 300 freshmen from various engineering programs, including aspiring electrical engineers, for a day of orientation, engagement, and introduction to university life. Through the program, participants were familiarized with the institution's academic policies, student services, campus resources, and opportunities that support holistic student development.

Representing the Electrical Engineering program, incoming IIEE freshmen are expected to take part in the onboarding sessions, gaining valuable insights into the university environment while building connections with fellow students from different disciplines. The event also provided an avenue for students to learn about various student organizations and extracurricular opportunities available on campus.

As they begin their collegiate journey, the participation of IIEE freshmen in the students onboarding marks an important first step toward academic excellence, professional growth, and active engagement within both the university and the future engineering community.
