🥇 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝘇𝗲𝗹 𝗛𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘇 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀 (𝗙𝗖𝗜𝗦–𝗦𝗟𝗦𝗨) claimed 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲, completing the challenge in a record-breaking 49 minutes, a testament to his speed, precision, and mastery of complex systems.

🥈 𝗩𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗕𝗶𝘀𝗹𝗶𝗴 (𝗙𝗖𝗜𝗦–𝗦𝗟𝗦𝗨) secured 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 with a strong finish at 1 hour and 29 minutes, showcasing his technical expertise and determination.

This double victory for SLSU highlights the university’s growing reputation as a hub for excellence in Information & Communication Technology, aligning with TESDA’s mission to nurture world-class skills and prepare local talents for international competitions.

The achievements of Renzel and Vince bring pride not only to their college but to the entire Southern Leyte community, proving that local students are ready to shine on the national and global stage.

As we bid farewell to the vibrant booths of 𝗙𝗖𝗜𝗦, we also close another remarkable chapter in the celebration of Southern Leyte State University’s 22nd Anniversary.

For the past week, these spaces have been more than just stalls.

They have been 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆.

Each booth carried stories of 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲. Reminding us of how far we have come and how much we have achieved together.

Though the festivities have drawn to a close, the memories will continue to inspire us, echoing the 𝗷𝗼𝘆, 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗖𝗜𝗦 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 that Charter Week has brought.

Charter Week 2026 | Officially Opens at Southern Leyte State University

Southern Leyte State University has officially commenced its Charter Week 2026 celebration on March 2, marking the beginning of a week filled with unity, tradition, and festivity. The opening day was filled with activities that brought together students, faculty, and guests in a vibrant display of school spirit.

The day began with the Fun Run, energizing participants and setting a lively tone for the celebration. In the afternoon, the grand opening of booths showcased the creativity and dedication of student organizations, offering music, food, games, and interactive experiences for everyone to enjoy.

A colorful parade of all departments followed, symbolizing solidarity and pride across the university community. The program was formally opened with remarks from SLSU President Jude Duarte, who emphasized the importance of the Charter Week in honoring the university’s legacy and achievements.

Excitement continued with the introduction of the candidates, adding anticipation to the festivities. The day concluded with the much‑awaited Ground Demonstration, the highlight of the opening celebration, where students showcased discipline, artistry, and teamwork in a spectacular performance.
