As your Campus Executive Officer, I take great pride in witnessing how this campus has grown alongside your dreams—from classrooms that were still being developed to programs that were continuously strengthened to support your learning. You stayed with us through the early stages, trusted the process, and believed in what this campus could become. For that, you will always hold a special place in the history of CSU Solana–Lara.

This year’s commencement theme, “Leading with Integrity, Innovating with Purpose,” reflects the values we hope you will carry wherever life takes you. With grateful hearts, Cagayan State University Solana-Lara Campus extends its sincerest appreciation to all the university and campus officials, faculty members, personnel, distinguished guests, parents, stakeholders, and visitors who became part of the First Commencement Exercises of the campus.

Your presence and support made this historic milestone even more meaningful and memorable for our graduates and for the entire CSU Solana-Lara community. More than witnessing a ceremony, you became part of a defining moment in the history of our campus.

We are deeply honored by the presence of Dr. Arthur G. Ibañez, OIC-President together with the Vice Presidents, University Deans and Directors, Executive Officers from the different CSU campuses, members of the CSU Board of Regents, and other university officials whose unwavering guidance, support, and commitment greatly contributed to the successful realization of the campus’ first commencement exercises.

Our deepest gratitude is extended to Hon. Joseph “Jojo” Lasam-Lara, Commencement Speaker, whose steadfast support for the campus has never wavered through the years. Cagayan State University Solana-Lara Campus proudly marked a historic milestone as it successfully held its First Commencement Exercises, honoring the academic accomplishments of its 236 pioneer graduates.

The momentous celebration stood as a meaningful testament to the campus’ steadfast commitment to academic excellence, transformative education, and student success. With hearts filled with pride, gratitude, and hope, the graduates took their long-awaited walk across the stage as they formally concluded a significant chapter of their academic journey and prepared to embrace new opportunities beyond the university.

The commencement exercises were graced by university officials headed by Prof. Dr. Arthur G. Ibañez, OIC-University President, together with the Vice Presidents, University Deans and Directors, Campus Executive Officers, members of the CSU Board of Regents, and other university officials. Delivering an inspiring and heartfelt message to the graduating class was Hon. Joseph “Jojo” Lasam-Lara, Congressman of the 3rd District of Cagayan, who served as the Commencement Speaker.

The occasion was likewise honored by the presence of Hon. Meynard Z. Carag, Municipal Mayor of Solana, alongside members of the Sangguniang Bayan and barangay officials of Iraga, Solana, Cagayan, whose attendance reflected their unwavering support for the continuous growth and development of the institution.

In his address, Hon. Lasam-Lara expressed his profound pride and joy in witnessing how the campus, once merely envisioned as a dream, has now flourished into an institution that nurtures aspirations and transforms them into meaningful realities. He encouraged the graduates to carry with them the values of perseverance, integrity, humility, and service as they journey toward greater endeavors.

Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Ma. Haidee A. Mabborang, Campus Executive Officer of CSU Solana-Lara Campus, conveyed her sincere appreciation to all the guests, stakeholders, faculty members, personnel, parents, and supporters whose invaluable contributions and unwavering dedication made the historic occasion possible. She emphasized that the first-ever commencement exercises signify not only a celebration of academic achievement, but also a reflection of the collective commitment, resilience, and shared vision of the university community.

The ceremony concluded in an atmosphere filled with joy, fulfillment, and inspiration as the pioneer graduates of Class 2026 officially became the first alumni of CSU Solana-Lara Campus, carrying with them the pride, aspirations, and enduring legacy of an institution devoted to shaping future professionals, leaders, and catalysts of change.

Interested and qualified applicants are encouraged to submit an application letter addressed to the Head of Office on or before May 18, 2026, together with the following requirements:

1. Application Letter
2. Fully accomplished Personal Data Sheet (PDS) with Work Experience Sheet and recent passport-sized or unfiltered digital picture (CS Form No. 212, Revised 2025); digitally signed or electronically signed;
3. Hard copy or electronic copy of the performance rating in the last rating period (if applicable);
4. Hard copy or electronic copy of proof of eligibility/rating/license; and
5. Hard copy or electronic copy of Transcript of Records.

The office welcomes all qualified applicants, including persons with disabilities (PWDs) and members of indigenous communities, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, civil status, religion, or political affiliation, in line with the Equal Opportunities for Employment Principle (EOP).
