This past Monday, August 10, the ๐๐จ๐ซ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ก๐จ๐ฅ๐๐ซ๐ฌ' ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐จ๐๐ข๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง kicked off the Academic Year with a fun and interactive booth to entertain and inform both freshmen and existing scholars on the First Day of classes for the ๐
๐ข๐ซ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ซ ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ ๐๐๐๐ซ ๐๐๐๐-๐๐.โฃโฃ

SorSU DOST SA Officers and councilors set up a booth located at the Covered Court of the Sorsogon State University Baribag Campus, which became a space for scholars to reconnect, meet new friends, and start the semester with a stronger sense of community. We were especially happy to welcome our freshman DOST scholars and introduce them to the organization that will be with them throughout their journey as SorSU DOST Scholars.โฃโฃ

Throughout the day, scholars visited the booth to claim their ๐๐ซ๐๐ ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข๐ฉ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฌ, browse and support our ๐๐๐ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐๐ฎ๐๐ญ๐ฌ, and check out the newly released ๐๐จ๐ซ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐-๐๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ข๐๐จ๐ฅ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฆ๐๐ซ๐๐ก๐๐ง๐๐ข๐ฌ๐, as well as glimpse some of the merch from exciting DOST-SEI affiliated events like the ๐๐ค๐ฉ๐ฐ๐ญ๐ข๐ณ๐ด ๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฆ๐ณ๐ด๐ฉ๐ช๐ฑ ๐๐ข๐ฎ๐ฑ and ๐๐ข๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ข๐ญ ๐๐ข๐ต๐ณ๐ช๐ฐ๐ต ๐๐ค๐ฉ๐ฐ๐ญ๐ข๐ณ๐ด' ๐๐ฐ๐ฏ๐จ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ด๐ด. Freshman scholars were welcomed into the community through the organization's exclusive ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ซ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ฉ ๐๐ก๐๐ญ, as well both new and old scholars having a chance to join the organization's ๐๐ญ๐๐ง๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ข๐ญ๐ญ๐๐๐ฌ ๐๐ฌ ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ข๐ฅ๐จ๐ซ๐ฌ. Many also took advantage of our ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐ฉ๐๐ง๐ ๐ซ๐๐ช๐ฎ๐ข๐ซ๐๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฉ๐๐จ๐ฑ, making the booth not only a place for fun and connection but also a convenient stop for scholarship-related concerns. โฃโฃ

More than the giveaways and merchandise, ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ was about creating connections and reminding every scholar that they are part of a supportive community that is here to embrace and guide them towards being a true Iskolar ng Bayan. Seeing familiar faces return, meeting our newest scholars, and hearing stories from different year levels made the event even more meaningful.โฃโฃ
