KSU SECURES SPOT AT THE 2022 WURI RANKING
Along with eleven (11) Higher Education Institution (HEI) in the Philippines, Kalinga State University (KSU) ranked as one of the global top innovative universities in the 2022 World Universities with Real Impact Ranking (WURI) notching the spot 101-200 in the overall category.
The said Universities from all over the world were included in the rankings as they presented innovativeness, and relevant efforts to cope with the growing demands of the society.
This year's ranking was organized by the Policy and Strategy on National Competitiveness (IPSNC) of South Korea and supported by four other organizations including the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (Unitar); HLU; the Institute for Industrial Policy Studies (IPS) from Seoul, South Korea; and the Taylor Institute of Franklin University Switzerland (FUS) from Switzerland.
Furthermore, the ranking seeks to deviate from the traditional rankings by highlighting the innovative programs of the universities instead of the usual quantitative metrics which give credence to research and academic systems.
The sum of this year’s total innovative programs evaluated is 792, accumulated by 309 universities. These universities come from all regions including Asia, North America, South America, Europe, Africa, and Oceania.
