Kalinga State University President Dr. Joy Grace P. Doctor joined delegates, researchers, institutional partners, evaluators, presenters, students, and guests during the Solidarity Night of the 1st Lumin-awa International Multidisciplinary Research Conference 2026, emphasizing the value of unity, fellowship, and collaboration among academic institutions and research communities.
In her message, Dr. Doctor described the gathering as an opportunity to strengthen connections beyond academic discussions and research presentations, highlighting the importance of building lasting partnerships and meaningful relationships among participating institutions and delegates from various local and international academic communities.
She also underscored the spirit of solidarity reflected throughout the conference, noting that collaboration among higher education institutions plays a vital role in fostering research engagement, academic cooperation, and shared initiatives toward inclusive and sustainable development.
Dr. Doctor likewise shared the warmth of YKalinga hospitality by welcoming participants as part of the extended Kalinga State University family and encouraging delegates to appreciate the rich culture, traditions, and hospitality of the Cordillera.
She further expressed her sincere gratitude to the evaluators, presenters, partner institutions, organizers, faculty members, staff, and student volunteers whose dedication and collective efforts contributed to the successful conduct of the conference and its accompanying activities.
