Due to the recent revision of the schedule for the Criminology Day and the recent typhoons Tino and Uwan, the audition for the Dance Dayo 2025 is moved to tomorrow, Tuesday, November 11, at 5pm at Leyte Colleges Sta Cruz Campus Room 401 (Defence Tactical Room).

Qualifications:
- Must be a bona fide student of Leyte Colleges (SHS and College)
- Must be physically fit to perform
- Must be responsible in attending practices regularly
- Must be disciplined

What to prepare: a 1-minute dance routine of any preferred dance style

Applause and a warm welcome to the second batch of gifted singers who have successfully passed our final round of auditions! Your voices rose above the crowd and left us in awe.

May your love for music grow stronger as we look forward to sharing the same stage with you, learning new songs, and creating wonderful memories together.

Blending Voices: LCC Ushers in New Members

Welcoming its new members who successfully passed the two-week-long singing auditions, the Leyte Colleges Chorale, together with their new chorale master, Ms. Monica Mayormita, held a general meeting at Room 3, Paterno Campus.

The gathering was spearheaded by Mr. Ivan Lacbayo, LC Chorale adviser, who discussed the rules and regulations of the organization. He reminded everyone that being part of the chorale is not just for fun—it also carries important responsibilities that each member must uphold.

Before the meeting concluded, Ms. Mayormita delivered a heartfelt message, emphasizing that the chorale should also help promote Eastern Visayas’ music and cultural songs. She pointed out that members have grown accustomed to singing mostly pop music, but by embracing traditional and local pieces, they can contribute to preserving the region’s cultural heritage.

As September draws near, the LCC is now focused on preparing its repertoire in anticipation of the long-awaited three-day foundation celebration of Leyte Colleges, where the group is set to showcase its musical talent and artistry.
