In biology, the nucleus is a membrane-bound organelle that houses most of a eukaryotic cell’s genetic material and serves as its control center. Beyond its scientific function, the nucleus can also symbolize the heart of information: a center where ideas take shape, truths are uncovered, and stories find their purpose. Through the power of the pen, these truths are transformed into headlines that inform, articles that enlighten, and narratives that give meaning to the voices they carry.

From late-night reviews that make you say, “𝙆𝙖𝙮𝙖 𝙣𝙖 𝙩𝙤𝙝 𝙨𝙖 𝙥𝙧𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙧𝙨,” and “𝙎𝙩𝙤𝙘𝙠 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬𝙡𝙚𝙙𝙜𝙚 𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙠𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙩 𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙤,” to the actual midterm examination that either makes you look at the test paper and think, “𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝙛𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙖𝙧 𝙞𝙩𝙤,” or leaves you thinking, “𝙇𝙪𝙝, 𝙣𝙖-𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙘𝙠 𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬𝙡𝙚𝙙𝙜𝙚,” halfway through the exam. 💀

But of course, what’s a Biolista without their 𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 to keep them going? The kind that makes everyone ask, “𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲?”

𝙉𝙖𝙪𝙧, 𝙢𝙝𝙞𝙚𝙢𝙖! It’s not latte. 𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘. 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘𝗘𝗘!

You heard that right! The 𝗕𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 is serving up 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗰𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗮𝗹 for all Biology students this midterm examination season!

On 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟬𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 (𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆), the 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗟𝗦𝗚) brought the SKSU Tacurong Campus community together for a meaningful 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀’ 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻—a day dedicated to honoring the educators who continue to guide, inspire, and shape the students they serve.

The 𝗕𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘀 were one with the celebration, joining fellow students in expressing their gratitude and appreciation to our beloved 𝗕𝗦 𝗕𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘀. Through simple gestures, heartfelt messages, and shared moments, we celebrated the people behind the lessons, encouragement, and guidance that have become part of our journey.

For every 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁, every 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱, every 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻, and every 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 that pushed us to do better—thank you, dear Biology professors. Your dedication goes beyond the classroom, and your impact continues to grow in every student you inspire. 🧬

What happens when you put 𝗕𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 in a new environment?

𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲: ON.
𝗘𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: loading.
𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽: activated.

From September 25–27, 2026, leaders of the 𝗕𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 stepped into Sultan Kudarat State University’s 𝗪𝗘 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗗 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 – 𝗪𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗫, under the theme “SPAWNING TO LEVEL X: Student Leading Quest into the WELEADVERSE.”

Coming from various levels of student governance, our leaders entered a diverse 𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 of student leaders—ready to 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻, 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁, and 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝘂𝗽.

Through team-building activities, seminars, and leadership development sessions, the three-day summit became a real-life experiment in 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻-𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴, and 𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆.

𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗲𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁? Check.
𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀? Check.
𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀? Definitely!

And just like organisms in an ever-changing ecosystem, our leaders had one job: 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗱, 𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁, and 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴.

As evolutionary biology reminds us, organisms that can adapt to changing conditions are better equipped to persist—and apparently, so is student leadership.

So, what does it take to reach 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗫?

A little teamwork, a lot of learning, and perhaps a healthy dose of 𝘤𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘳-𝘭𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭 𝘢𝘥𝘢𝘱𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯. 🧬

From one leadership level to another, 𝗕𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 continues to grow its own 𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀—connecting, adapting, evolving, and leading beyond the classroom.

𝗪𝗘 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗗? More like 𝗪𝗘 𝗘𝗩𝗢𝗟𝗩𝗘. 🌱
