We commit ourselves to produce highly competent graduates by providing advanced learning and knowledge in education through sound theories and relevant practices to prepare them for effective teaching and leadership in the academe that would hopefully bring significant reforms and contributions in the field of an education highlighting pedagogy, cultural sensitivity, student-centeredness, teachers’ welfare and school management. OBJECTIVES
The Graduate Education Program provides the necessary opportunities for continued growth and development of effective teachers and dynamic Christian leaders whose research capability is geared towards the advancement of knowledge and development and service to society. The Program aims to:
1. update and enrich teachers’ content knowledge in a specific subject area or
professional area;
2. enhance and expand teachers’ theoretical and technical knowledge for teaching
a specific subject area or professional area; and
3. develop the teachers’ research capabilities for replicating, verifying, validating,
contextualizing, and/or applying theoretical and practical knowledge about the
different aspects of the educational process. Top Highlights of the Program:

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- As of this time, the prospectus for the new curriculum is not yet available. The
program is still waiting for the contents noted copy from the CHED office.
- For first-year students, the program offers four (4) subjects per semester (first
and second) and two (2) subjects for Summer Class. For second-year students,
three (3) subjects will be offered for the first semester including the Thesis
Writing 1 and one (1) subject for the second semester which is Thesis Writing 2. Each semester is divided into two (2) terms wherein students have classes for two
(2) or one (1) subject in each term depending on what they need to take to finish
the course.
- Classes are conducted on Saturdays, the whole day. One subject in the morning
(8:00 AM -12:00 NN) and another one subject in the afternoon (1:00 PM – 5:00
PM).
- The program accepts new students, transferees, and returnees.
- For transferees and returnees, the credited subject will be dependent on the
similarity of the course offerings of the Graduate Education Program based on
the number of units, course description, and course requirements as per the
evaluation of the School Registrar and the Dean.
- Since the program is following the new curriculum as mandated by CHED, the
students will be declared as graduates after complying and submitting their
published research studies. ADMISSION POLICIES:
To be eligible for admission to a Master’s degree program, the applicant shall consider these policies:
1. Must be a graduate of any Education Course
2. If in case the student is not an education graduate, he/she must have earned 18
units in Professional Education.
3. Have a general weighted average grade of not lower than 85% in the Bachelor’s
program.
4. Pass the entrance examination for graduate studies (required during face-to-face
classes only. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
- Certificate of transfer Credential
- Informative copy of Transcript of Record
- 1 photocopy of PSA Birth Certificate
- 1 photocopy of PSA Marriage contract (if married)
- Result of Entrance Examination
- 1 pc. 1” x 1” ID Picture
