RACE Training for Gatekeepers: Building a Culture of Care and Support
On October 16, 2026, STI College Tanauan conducted the RACE Training for Gatekeepers, attended by faculty and staff members committed to fostering a safer, more supportive, and compassionate school community.
The training featured Ms. Cecilia Aguiling, RGC, LPT, as the guest speaker, with Khristian Kelly Velasco, Guidance Associate of STI College Tanauan, serving as co-facilitator.
Through this initiative, our faculty and staff strengthened their awareness and understanding of how to recognize signs of distress, respond with empathy, and provide appropriate support to individuals experiencing emotional or psychological difficulties.
This training reinforces the importance of creating a caring community where support is a shared responsibility. A simple act of listening, a thoughtful conversation, or reaching out at the right moment can make a meaningful difference.
Together, let us continue building a community where everyone feels seen, heard, valued, and supported.
