LODGE OF INSTRUCTION & MASONIC DECORUM
A truly meaningful and instructive gathering of the Craft was held at the Red Mountain Masonic Lodge No. 241 Temple on August 22, as the brethren of RMML No. 241 and KML No. 255 came together for a Lodge of Instruction and Masonic Decorum, ably imparted by the brethren of Masonic District RXIII Agusan and Surigao headed by our DDGM VW Brandix Faelnar.
The instruction served not merely as a lesson in proper Lodge protocol and ceremonial observance, but as a profound reminder of the ancient landmarks, usages, customs, and traditions of Freemasonry. The brethren were reminded that Masonic decorum is a reflection of the respect we hold for the Institution, for the Lodge, for its officers, and most especially, for the sacred bond of Brotherhood that unites us as Freemasons.
Through the valuable insights shared by the District, the brethren gained a deeper appreciation of the proper conduct expected within the Lodge—our manner of assembly, our respect for the East, our obedience to the established order of the Lodge, and the dignity with which every Mason should perform his part in the ritual and labor of the Craft.
The gathering was likewise an opportunity for the brethren to refresh their knowledge, correct practices where necessary, and strengthen their commitment to Masonic discipline, harmony, fidelity, and excellence. For indeed, the beauty of Masonry is not found only in its symbols and ceremonies, but in the manner by which a Mason conducts himself both within and without the Lodge.
The presence and fellowship of the brethren of RMML 241 and KML 255 further exemplified the true spirit of Masonry—that though we may labor in different Lodges, we remain united upon the same Level, guided by the same Plumb, and striving toward the same noble principles of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth.
Our fraternal appreciation and gratitude to the Masonic District RXIII Agusan and Surigao specially to our very active DDGM for sharing their knowledge, experience, and wisdom with the brethren. May this instruction continue to inspire every Mason to be more proficient in the Craft, more disciplined in his Masonic duties, and more faithful to the principles he has solemnly embraced.
May we continue to meet upon the Level, act upon the Plumb, and part upon the Square, ever mindful that our conduct reflects not only upon ourselves, but upon the great Fraternity to which we belong.
So Mote It Be.
