Strengthening its position in research and innovation, NMSCST secured the 3rd spot among State Colleges in the Philippines based on the 2026 Scopus Outputs Ranking released by Global Health Focus (GHF) on May 19, 2026. The recognition highlights the institution’s growing contribution to research productivity, scholarly engagement, and academic excellence.

With a total of 𝟰𝟬 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝗽𝘂𝘀-𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝘅𝗲𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗽𝘂𝘁𝘀 from 2022 to 2026, including 𝟲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 recorded in 2026 alone, the institution continues to strengthen its presence in the national and international research landscape. This milestone reflects the dedication and collaborative efforts of faculty researchers, academic officials, staff, students, and partner stakeholders in advancing impactful and evidence-based research initiatives.

The achievement further underscores NMSCST’s commitment to producing relevant and innovative studies that contribute to knowledge generation, sustainable development, and community empowerment. Through strengthened research initiatives, interdisciplinary collaborations, and active participation in scholarly undertakings, the institution continues to elevate the standards of higher education, research, and innovation in Region X and beyond.
