The initiative brought together 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 from the local communities, providing them with an avenue to strengthen their knowledge and practical skills in utilizing technology and digital tools for their administrative responsibilities. The activity emphasized the importance of digital literacy in improving efficiency, organization, communication, and service delivery within the barangay.

The seminar-workshop was led by 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐀𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐳𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐞 𝐀. 𝐂𝐮𝐞𝐫𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐬 and 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐚 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞 𝐏. 𝐌𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧, who shared valuable insights and practical knowledge on technology and digital literacy. Their discussions and hands-on activities equipped the participants with useful strategies and digital competencies that can be applied to their daily administrative tasks and community service.

The program was organized under the leadership of 𝐂𝐀𝐄𝐒 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 Prof. Kathleen P. Quirante, with the active assistance of the 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 (𝐀𝐘𝐎𝐀) and its student leaders and volunteers. The activity was further supported by the 𝐈𝐁𝐅𝐒 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐲, under the guidance of 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐏. 𝐕𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞, 𝐌𝐁𝐀, whose guidance, encouragement, and collective efforts contributed significantly to the successful implementation of the activity.

The BSOA Program and CAES extend their sincere appreciation to the participating 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬, resource speakers, faculty members, and student leaders whose cooperation and dedication made the seminar-workshop a meaningful and successful learning experience.

Sa temang “Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon,” ipinagdiriwang natin ang makabuluhang ugnayan ng wika, kaalaman, at makabagong teknolohiya. 🌐🇵🇭

This seminar-workshop is designed to enhance the digital knowledge and skills of our Barangay Secretaries, providing them with practical tools and strategies for using technology effectively in their administrative responsibilities and community service. Through this initiative, the BSOA Program continues its commitment to capacity-building, community engagement, and strengthening local public service through meaningful academic extension activities.
