5𝐭𝐡 𝐄𝐋𝐒 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞

The Department of English Language Studies (DELS) of the College of Arts and Social Sciences of Tarlac State University, in partnership with the College of Arts and Letters of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Manila (PUP-CAL) will conduct the 5th ELS Research Conference on May 25-26, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, via Zoom and at the CASS Theater Room, SH 206, and SH 204.

With the theme, “AI, English, and Community: Reimagining ELS in Multilingual Philippine Contexts,” the 5th ELS ResCon further expands its reach with the attendance and participation of other invited State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) offering the AB English Language Studies program, namely Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University - South La Union campus, Bicol University, Cagayan State University, University of Cordilleras, and Mindanao State University – General Santos.

With this inter-institutional academic gathering, we highly encourage all ELS students from the abovementioned institutions to participate and engage in this prestigious event that aims to produce rich, diverse, and inclusive perspectives on the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, English Language, and the multilingual communities in the Philippines.
