It has several breakthroughs in infrastructure development and will continue to build more state-of-the-art laboratories and classrooms to equip graduates with the necessary competencies. CSU Gonzaga, endowed with its agro-forestry commodity, gears up towards bamboo-based research, extension services, and production. It is aggressively pursuing its development into an agro-ecotourism destination. CSU Lallo is relentlessly pursuing agriculture-based knowledge and innovations that empower the marginalized sectors of society. Its programs are aimed towards its niche on legumes and other high-value and cash crops. CSU Lasam boasts of its locally-made products that help boost community development. Its niche is Cacao value-adding and Industrial Technology. It also has the highest number of research publications in international and national refereed journals in 2017. CSU Piat is home to the CSU Nature Farm, an Agri-tourism site that caters to local and foreign tourists who prefer a rural landscape. A center of livestock development of the university, the campus has established the Dairy Cattle Research and Development Center in support of the dairy industry in the region. CSU Sanchez Mira's organic agriculture and apiculture niche match its mushroom and coconut-based research and extension services.
