Congratulations!
The School of Advanced Studies proudly congratulates Engr. Marcos P. Pattaguan, Jr. on the successful defense of his dissertation proposal for the degree of Doctor in Public Administration. His dissertation proposal, titled “Effectiveness of Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Programs and Services: Basis for Policy Recommendations”, was successfully defended under the mentorship of Dr. Nelia Z. Cauilan.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the distinguished members of the oral tribunal for their invaluable insights, rigorous evaluation, and guidance throughout this academic milestone. The tribunal was chaired by Dr. Lilia M. Tamayao, Former University Dean of Cagayan State University. The esteemed members of the panel included Dr. Joseph F. Tamacay, Planning Officer III of the National Police Commission; Atty. Joseph Nichol E. Reyes, DPA, Administrative Officer of the Provincial Government of Cagayan; Dr. Mary Ann C. Bartolome, Graduate Program Coordinator of the University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao; and Dr. Liza M. Empedrad, Associate Dean of the University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao. Additionally, Mrs. Jennifer C. Bangi, MARS, Research Center Head of the University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao, served as the reader during the defense.
With the valuable recommendations and constructive feedback from the tribunal, Engr. Pattaguan is now officially cleared to proceed to the data collection and full implementation phase of this promising research. The entire academic community wishes you all the best, Engr.
