ANNOUNCEMENT!

Effective today, students are allowed to wear alternative attire (white shirt, college shirt, or organizational shirt) due to the extreme heat currently affecting Cagayan. The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration has recorded temperatures reaching up to 40 degrees Celsius or higher in some areas of the province.

This initiative, led by the Office of the Student Regent under Hon. John Lester S. Jaime, has been approved by the Officer-in-Charge of the Office of the University President, Dr. Arthur G. Ibanez, to prioritize the well-being of students across all CSU campuses in response to numerous concerns raised by students from the nine campuses.

This policy will remain in effect until lifted. However, students are reminded to adhere to the proper dress code guidelines as stated in the 2023 Revised Student Manual.

ANNOUNCEMENT || In response to the letter sent by the Office of the Student Regent requesting for a one-day (1) academic break, the CSU Administration decided to conduct online and/or asynchronous classes to all campuses effective on Tuesday, February 25, 2025.

This also serves as consideration to the student athletes, student leaders, who devoted their time for the success of the recently concluded University Meet held last February 18-21, 2025.

CSU attends Online Introductory Meeting on NEAS's ELT Quality Endorsement/Certification Project

The VPAA and CTED Deans of CSU attended an online introductory meeting about National ELT Accreditation Scheme (NEAS) ELT Quality Endorsement/Certification Project. This meeting has jointly hosted by NEAS and the ASEAN University Network on Tuesday, 14 March 2023.

Dr. Mariden V. Cauilan, CSU VPAA, successfully presented virtually her research paper titled "Challenges Faced by Faculty Members on Online Teaching: Inputs for the Enhancement of the Faculty and Staff Development Program of Higher Education Institutions" at the Southeast Asian Multidisciplinary Research Expo and Extension Conference (SEAMREEC). This was organized by the office of Research, Extension & Training, Sorsogon State University at the Sorsogon Convention Center, Sorsogon City.
