August 02 - A huge crowd of excited first-year students flooded the South East Asian Institute of Technology (SEAIT) campus, as the institution officially welcomed thousands of freshmen during its annual Freshmen Night celebration, August 02.

With the theme “Rise Up SEAIT: A Night of New Beginnings, Bright Lights, and Boundless Dreams”, the event launches a seminar on responsible use of social media and a raffle draw set to help freshmen ease into their fresh campus life as they embrace the thriving culture of SEAIT.

Adding to the highlights, vloggers Sawadi and Kawaton, and the local live band Coffee Calibre made the crowd go wild.

Meanwhile, the night featured talented students as they performed onstage the Comedy Skit, Vocal Duet, and Your Face Sounds Familiar, where Civil Engineering freshies reigned boundless as the overall champion, winning all three competitions.

Organized by the Supreme Student Council (SSC) in partnership with the Presidents of the school organisations, the successful turnout and enthusiastic launch marked the event as a fun, memorable start to the academic year— blending connection, school pride, and a strong sense of belonging among the SEAIT’s newest students.

Reminders for those who will process their add/drop forms, requested subjects and late enrollment.

Please be informed that starting tomorrow, Monday (July 14, 2025), enrollment will resume at the Administration Building.

In addition, the processing of adding, dropping, shifting, and subject requests will also begin tomorrow.

Kindly take note that the last day of enrollment is on July 19, 2025.

We encourage all concerned students to complete their enrollment and necessary transactions within the given period.

1. Students must be officially enrolled in BSCE for the current semester of the current academic year.

2. Answer all membership security questions properly.

3. FB Profile Name must be your real name.

4. FB Profile Pictures must be a photo of you showing your face.

5. Only one active Facebook account per student will be accepted.

Those who do not follow the rules above will be repeatedly declined by the admins of the group.

Screening out of official members will start on Monday, 14 August 2023.
