𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | 𝗪𝗛𝗬 𝗩𝗢𝗧𝗘 𝗬𝗘𝗦 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗘𝗗 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗧𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗕𝗬-𝗟𝗔𝗪𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗦𝗖?

A 𝒀𝑬𝑺 vote is a vote for a stronger and more student-centered system of governance. The proposed CBL provides a clearer structure for the SEAIT-SSC, strengthens representation, and promotes greater transparency, accountability, and responsiveness to the needs of the student body. It is designed with clearer provisions and independent oversight for a more responsible and effective SSC.

The proposed CBL also formally recognizes College Organizations as separate and independent bodies from Program Organizations, with a broader role in representing and coordinating college-wide concerns. Because of this recognition, the proposed CBL includes an additional ₱50.00 membership fee for Colleges. This added support will help these organizations carry out their responsibilities, deliver services to their constituents, and strengthen coordination between the colleges and the SSC.

By voting YES, students support a system that gives every college a stronger voice and a more active role in student governance.

April 20 — The Supreme Student Council (SSC) Constitutional Convention (ConCon) Body conducted a Student General Assembly at the gymnasium to review and ratify the proposed Constitution and By-Laws (CBL). The assembly was presided over by Hon. Rey Mark S. Andre-e, with Hon. Kelly Jim A. Alipio serving as deputy presiding officer. The event aimed to promote transparency in student governance, ensure credible representation, and strengthen advocacy for student rights and welfare.

The agenda focused on informing students about the significance of the Constitution and By-Laws in the electoral process, reviewing the revised CBL, and discussing its role in student representation and good governance.

During the program, keynote speaker Sir Arnel Vince emphasized the importance of student participation in the schoolwide ratification of the proposed SSC Constitution and By-Laws, reminding attendees that, “What you decide today will outlive your position.”

Meanwhile, Hon. Andre-e delivered a privilege speech highlighting the importance of student involvement in shaping governance.

“We are here not simply to review the document but to decide the kind of student government we want and the student community we deserve. The Constitution and By-Laws is more than just a set of rules—it is a commitment to stronger representation, clearer accountability, and responsible student leadership,” Andre-e said.

A question-and-answer segment followed, allowing students to seek clarification on newly proposed student office positions and departments, as well as the implementation of proposed reforms.

The assembly reflected active student engagement and critical participation, reinforcing the commitment of the student body toward accountable leadership and stronger governance within the SEAIT community.

The SEAIT-SSC invites all students to attend the General Assembly tomorrow, April 20, 2026, at the SEAIT Gymnasium.

The sole purpose of the General Assembly is the presentation of the proposed SEAIT-SSC Constitution and By-Laws, which will be presented by the Constitutional Convention Body.

The assembly will adhere to parliamentary procedures, and all attendees are expected to follow the house rules.

Meanwhile, students are still required to wear their school uniforms.

Student leaders from South East Asian Institute of Technology, Inc. have once again gathered for their final caucus before the last reading of the proposed Constitution and By-Laws of the SEAIT-Supreme Student Council.

As discussions intensify, the room is filled with heated arguments, and moments of intense deliberation, differing perspectives, and critical debates over key amendments. Voices are being heard, ideas are being challenged, and decisions are being shaped—each aimed at championing the true interests of the student body.

SEAIT will be conducting the Entrance Examination for all degree programs with board licensure examinations for Academic Year 2026–2027.

📅 The exam will begin on 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟭𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, and appointment scheduling starts on March 16, 2026.

This is open to all incoming freshmen and transferees who are planning to enroll in these programs.
