From Interns to Industry Professionals: Navigating the Path to Success in IT Careers
The College of Information and Technology Education successfully conducted the Project FIIP 4.0 Culminating Seminar for the Class of 2026 on May 15, 2026, at the Urdaneta City University Amphitheater. The event gathered graduating students, faculty members, and industry professionals for meaningful discussions on career readiness, professional growth, and navigating the ever-evolving IT industry.
The program featured insightful lectures from industry practitioners and faculty members. ๐๐ซ. ๐๐๐๐๐ซ๐๐ฒ ๐. ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ข๐ discussed freelancing opportunities, building a standout tech portfolio, and in-demand IT skills. ๐๐ฌ. ๐๐๐ง๐ง๐๐ก ๐๐จ๐ซ๐จ๐ญ๐ก๐ฒ ๐. ๐๐ขรฑ๐จ shared valuable insights on industry trends, professional networking, and essential workplace skills, while ๐๐ซ. ๐๐๐ง ๐๐๐ก๐ข๐ซ๐จ ๐. ๐๐๐ ๐ฎ๐๐ฌ tackled career planning, IT trends, and application tips for aspiring IT professionals. In addition, ๐๐ซ๐จ๐. ๐๐จ๐ก๐๐ง๐ง๐ฌ ๐. ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐จ, ๐๐๐, ๐๐๐ emphasized the importance of managing emotional well-being among newly graduated students.
The activity served as a valuable platform to inspire and prepare students as they transition from academic life to professional careers in the technology field. Through interactive sessions, students gained practical insights into resume building, interview preparation, workplace etiquette, and adapting to the fast-changing demands of the tech industry.
More importantly, the seminar became a celebration of the studentsโ dedication, perseverance, and hard work throughout their academic and internship journeys as they move one step closer to becoming industry professionals.
