WAVES: Ecological Integrity – Tree Planting & Eco-Tour

On March 18, 2026, students took part in a meaningful Tree Planting and Eco-Tour at ADZU’s Adopted Watershed in the Pasonanca Watershed and ASEAN Heritage site, as part of the WAVES (Weaving Authentic and Valued Experiences) 2026 Program.

Participants actively contributed to reforestation efforts while exploring the rich biodiversity of the watershed, deepening their appreciation of its ecological importance.

Through planting trees and engaging with the natural environment, students are reminded that caring for our common home requires both action and awareness. Each seedling planted symbolizes hope, responsibility, and a shared commitment to sustainability.

WAVES: Ecological Integrity – Eco-Art Activity

Students are immersed in a creative eco-art session, transforming natural and recycled materials into meaningful works of art as part of the WAVES (Weaving Authentic and Valued Experiences) 2026 Program.

Anchored in the JEEPGY Framework's Ecological Integrity strand, this activity goes beyond artistic expression—it becomes a space where creativity meets environmental consciousness. Using leaves, twigs, and repurposed materials, participants reflect on the beauty of our common home while reimagining waste as something valuable and purposeful.

Through every piece they create, students are invited to see art not just as a form of expression, but as a call to care. In shaping their creations, they also shape a deeper awareness of sustainability and their role in protecting the Earth.

May this experience inspire them to carry forward not only their creativity, but a lasting commitment to care for creation.

🌱♻️ WAVES in Action | Waste Analysis and Characterization Study (WACS)

As part of the WAVES (Weaving Authentic and Valued Experiences) Ecological Integrity Program, students are actively participating in a Waste Analysis and Characterization Study (WACS)—an important step toward understanding our waste generation and improving responsible waste management.

Through this hands-on activity, participants examine and categorize different types of waste, gaining deeper awareness of how everyday choices impact the environment. More than just data gathering, WACS encourages students to develop sustainable habits, environmental responsibility, and a stronger commitment to caring for our common home.

Together, let us transform awareness into meaningful action for ecological integrity. 🌏💚
