Thank you for your interest, it is a pleasure to extend a warm welcome to you to our schools that are renowned not only for their academic achievements but also a friendly environment that makes everyone feel at home. Ever since its inception in 1981, my mission has always been character building of young

, impressionable boys and girls. I have the honor of heading a team of ladies and gentlemen whose missionary zeal is accompanied by heighted self-discipline and disregard for their own selfish interests. We have considered it our duty and privilege to guide these young budding souls to the highest standards of morality, to be pursued consistently. We instill in them never to let go moral perceptions for expediency. Neither do we let our students be deluded or beguiled by the absurd notion that there is no limit to one’s aims and achievements or let them limit themselves by mere wondering. Instead they are encouraged to dream and strive and to realize their dreams through actions. We inspire them to aspire for perfection neither by angelic nature nor duplicity or fraud by discipline, justice, fidelity and firm execution of duty according to the lawful commands of the Allah and his apostle Hazrat Muhammad, (may peace and blessings by upon him). Extremism of all kinds, including religious bigotry is actively discouraged for it gives birth to the worst enemy within ourselves —the grasping selfishness which deprives others of their just rights and leads to obstinacy and arrogance the root cause of all evils. On the other hand, to get over this covetous selfishness, the students are made conscience of the material needs of fellow beings by inculcating the spirit of caring, sharing and compassionate kindness. We do just what we can, even though our standard should fall short of highest standard — But our aim has been and always would be to follow the highest standard, and are sure that Allah’s Grace will come to our assistance. I hope you will read more about what we have to offer. And I hope I will be able to welcome you to the school in the very near future. I am confident that we will exceed your expectations and you will enjoy your time at Iqra.

A news is coming of big threat of terrorism in Abbottabad.Army Burn Hall had received a written threat previously today. The fact of it being true or not has not yet been declared. Schools all over Abbottabad will remain closed till next Monday. Extra security has been granted to all schools. To my thinking this may not be a drill. Stay at home and pray for others....
